Well I just finished all my measurements and weigh in for the month! Four lbs down, inches lost all over and I feel great! Its amazing how only losing four lbs all month still feels awesome! Congrats to us for starting and completing a whole month! SP is a great place for encouragement! I'm going to take my shaky muscles to the shower now lol! I think I may spring for some pizza to celebrate (and then continue on with my healthy eating afterwards lol)

I am making healthier food choices, watching portions and walking more. Just this week I added 3 lb ankle weights when I walk on the treadmill. My main exercise is walking but I started riding my bike again. On 5/23 I weighed in at 153.50, this morning I weigh 148.50 so I've lost 5 lbs. Clothes fit looser. So glad to be on this journey with other Spark team members. I appreciate the support!

This is month 2 of this lifestyle for me, but 1st month with SP. Although I am losing weight I am frustrated with my lack of exercise abililty. I injured my leg 2 weeks ago and the rehab/heeling process is slow. With the inability to do much in the way of cardio my weight loss is not as much as I would like it. I have stalled perse but I'm a control freak and want what I want. My cravings have been minimal and I have not binged except for a few nibbles of some delicious food over the weekend. I love having the folks of SP as a support system. This has made it much easier!

I'm getting more exercise, which is a huge plus for me. I'm paying attention to how much I'm walking again. I've lost a few pounds but I haven't checked my measurements yet to see if there's any change there.

I'm drinking enough water now and I'm eating a healthier breakfast every morning.

Vee-I have found the same issues with the scale...I don't weigh in until tomorrow so I'll share my results, but I have found a new best-friend...the tape measure. I have only lost 3 lbs so far...but that tape measure keeps me motivated in so many ways! Following Sparks workout routines make us build muscle, so losing weight is not the only thing we have to pay attention to. I am nervous to see tomorrows results, I'm going to do 30 minutes of hard cardio today to get the best results possible. I am excited to start month two and hope to do it at least 4 lbs lighter!

Hi everyone, I figured I'd start a thread to share our experiences on our first month. I for one have had a very hard time with the scale. I have been eating well and exercising a TON, I have gone from no exercise a month ago to exercising 5-6 days each week. For all my efforts I have almost lost 4 lbs. While I am thrilled that some weight has come off, it is stunning how much work it took to get rid of them! Rome wasnt built in a day though, it took time to put it on, its going to take time to put it off. As for food, I had a wedding, an annual dinner,Memorial Day weekend, and an engagement dinner this past month. I nagivated them decently (damn those dessert stations!) but in the past month, I have started to dread big events where I used to love them in the past. Events test my willpower which is def something I'd rather avoid! I hope everyone else has had a good month... bring on the second month!
