Hey all!

Tracy - you are NOT a failure. You had a stressful week, and one thing got away from you. Look at this as a new week, and just do what you can. It's just a setback, don't let it take control!

Shelly, I like both the skirt and pants, so I don't know what to tell ya! Hope the PT helps out today so you can start being more active. I can tell it's bugging you!

Zoe - Good luck at the job!

Mitchell- Hope class goes well!

Today is going to be a bit busy. I have some errands to run and haven't decided if I'm dragging the kids with me or if I'll leave them home. It's easier to go without them, but I don't want to leave them home alone for too long. I missed my workout yesterday, so I feel like I need to make up for it today. I've been so tired the past few days, it's hard to gear up and get things going.

Shelly, I hope the doctor can help you with the knee so you can be more active again! You have to tell us how that went! And I think Tracys idea about exercising in the water is really good. Perhaps you could fit that in somehow? Swimming is gentle to the joints and still getting up the heartrate!

Tracy, I'm sorry you gained this week :( But look at your stressful situation! With my mom in the hospital I couldn't focus on logging ANYTHING in or watching out for what I eat. Kudos to you for still doing the right thing despite the situation!
And I'm glad about the good news :)

Tracy - you are NOT a big fat failure!!!!!! Losing weight is just one part of your life; it is not the entire you. Look at the fantastic news you got yesterday about your mom and concentrate on good things like that. You're still logging in and making an effort so you are on the right path. You can do this and we'll help support you.

Good Morning, Mitchell! Glad to see you're back. Sorry I wasn't here yesterday. My mom had a heart cath done that morning. However, the doctor said that her heart is clean as a whistle! And that the bad "gene" she didn't inherit. Thank goodness. THAT was stressful. I really need to get back into working out. I'm just staying so tired lately. I don't know what's gotten into me. I can nap all the time if lil man would let me. Today is my official weigh in day. :( There is a 10lb gain in one week. Is that really possible? Seriously? 10 freaking pounds. I don't even WANT to put that on my tracker. I will...but I don't want to. It makes me feel like a big fat failure. I'll just continue to eat right and I'll buckle down and try to stick to the low end of my calorie thing. We'll see how that works.

I got my application for the YMCA. I just need to get the Mr to sit down with me this evening and fill it out so I can take it in. I hope we can get some assistance so we can get in. If not, then oh well, we'll figure something else out.

ETA: Mornin' Shelly! You snuck in there. Don't be so hard on your knee. Give it time to heal up right, otherwise, you could cause longer term damage. Have you thought of weight training? Muscle burns fat as well as cardio. Or can you do water exercise since it's supposed to be easier on the joints, or would that hurt your muscle as well? OH and I think the pants looks best. More summery and they make your legs look longer.

Mitchell - Congrats on the weight loss and the inches! That is fantastic and I'm sure it makes you feel good too. Thanks for the comment on the photo.

I walked this morning. Didn't feel so good though. My leg was not happy about the speed so I ended up going for a walk that did not do anything for my heartrate. That was disappointing. I see my PT today. When I saw him last week he talked about maybe putting me in a different knee brace/support so that I could do a little more so I can get my heartrate up. I think I'll be pushing him for that today. Lots and lots of running to get done today. Kids want to go places and I have laundry to get done. Good times!!! Have a great day ladies!

Good morning ladies!

Shelly, great outfits! I already posted a picture comment. I really have to say I like that shirt/skirt/shoe combo! The trousers look good on you, too, but I think I prefer the skirt. I'm generally more a skirt-girl, perhaps it's because of that. Anyway, it looks fantastic on you!

Mom6, thanks a lot for your prayers! It'll be a tough time with lots of work. But I'll see it as a chance. I'll try to make some progress so I'm busy plus my boyfriend will be able to see some changes when we meet again :)

Today was my weigh in and I lost only about 1 pound. But I have to say with my boyfriend here I didn't work out as much. I'm still under the red line, so I'm alright with that. The other measurements were due today, too. I lost a total of 2.5" (9cm) and I'm really happy with these results! Especially since I lost a lot at my waist.

I'll eat some breastfast now and then I'll walk to my lecture!
