Zoe, you're right, I'm fortunate to have you ladies here! It'll get better.

Ginger, I'm jealous too! I'd love an elliptical in my house too! I'm lucky to have a treadmill in my living room, but sadly, it still collects dust!

Today was a grouchy day for me. I think it's hormonal and withdrawl from the sugar and starches from this past weekend. I didn't eat badly today, but I didn't eat very well either. I'm way under in all categories. Tonight was insanely busy with running kids around, and I didn't get home until 9pm. I snacked some, but now I'm really hungry! I'm just going to go to bed and see what tomorrow brings!

Good night ladies!

~Cecelia~

Hey, Ginger, I think that setting up all that stuff counts as exercise! LOL Actually, you are very lucky and I'm envious that you have this in your garage - good for you!

It's been such a busy day around here. We finally got the weight machine, treadmill and elliptical set up in the space above the garage. So now I have no excuse for not exercising. Well, except for "too hot" "too cold" and "but, MA! I don't wanna!"

I hope today went well for everyone else!

Hope I don't miss anyone, just read the rest of yesterday and then popped over here.

Cecelia - You're not completely losing your support system cuz you have us! Plus your friends will have computers too, so you can stay in touch with them too. Plus, now you have places to stay when you visit Las Vegas or Florida! Also, take one day at a time and quit fretting about August; hubby is here now so focus on that. And hugs your kids a lot and know that some day they will be old enough to know what you do for them too. It may be a decade from now lol but it will happen.

Rachel - Hang in there. Let your body recover and start again slowly. Does your doctor know you're doing SP? Can he adjust your meds or some other help? Let hubby pamper you for awhile. We're here when you can come back online.

Mitchell - congrats on meeting your two digit goal! emoticon

Shelly - rest your knee, girl!

I've walked, just finished breakfast, and now I have a big to do list to conquer! Have a great day!

Well, here I am. Reading along, drinking my slimfast shake. Another day of kids activities and laundry. I've still been trying to work on my website and get things going, but there's technical stuff that I have no idea how to do. That's the husband's specialty. No that the website matters at the moment, because there hasn't been time to build inventory. My 6 year old complained the other day that mom's always doing stuff for other people and doesn't have time for her. She's just too young to see how that's not true. Can we add a few more hours to the day?

Rachel, I'm so sorry to hear about your pain. My mom suffers from fibromyalgia. She's in a catch 22 with it because the meds bring on weight gain as well. You'd think the smart pharmaceutical companies could fix that in the formulas! Just check back when you can. At least you still have the desire to come back!

Mitchell, Congratulations to you for continued loss (I'd forget the new scale!) and also... congratulations on continuing your education. It's the one thing I never finished. It's on my list for "one of these days". Hang in there. You're doing great!

Shelly, Hmm, I thought I remembered something about someone needing to take a break because of her knee?? Sound familiar!! Don't work too hard. Thanks for the encouragement. I'll get to spend the rest of the summer concentrating on just my husband and kids. And maybe a little on myself too! I just need to keep a streak going for longer than 3-4 days! The last time he deployed is when I lost 50lbs here on SP. I'm hoping to do it again this time!

So did everyone take pics of their walks? Let me know so I can go check out your pictures!!

~Cecelia~

Rachel - Have you considered seeing a massage therapist, chiropractor, or acupuncturist? It may do you some good and relieve you of some of the pain and give you more ability to exercise. Take it easy and do small things. Try stretching too, it will help strengthen your muscles as well as simply feel good. Hang in there, we are all here to support you in this change.

Cecelia - I am so sorry your friends are moving. That has to be so hard, especially to have them leave at the same time. It will be hard emotionally having them gone but like you said, maybe the bad influences will be gone and you can get on track and stay on track. Iím glad your husband is home. He is a great support to you. And although he deploys every other year doesnít mean that you canít keep going when he is gone. Thatís why this support system is here. I know its different not having someone there face to face but I hope we are ok surrogates. We got your back! I will certainly help you in anyway I can from 1000 miles away.

Mitchell - Congratulations on the 2 lb loss!!! That is fantastic! Glad you are back home and getting back to some normalcy and a routine. It sounds like all things considered you did pretty well this weekend.

I didnít get pictures taken yesterday, will try to do it today. My glutes and hammies are screaming at me this morning from my workout yesterday. Thatís a good thing right?!?! I got on the scale this morning and it still read 156. Thatís ok by me. With no cardio and its that time of the month, Iíll take a consistent number this week. Weíll see what happens on my official weigh in day of Friday.

Have a great day ladies! Be good to yourselves!

Good morning ladies!

Rachel, I hope you get better soon! I'm really sorry to hear you're in so much pain.

Cecelia, get on track again today and start over again. Every day can be a new start!
I'm sorry to hear that your friends move away :( I hope you manage to stay in touch somehow.

I stepped on the scale. This new scale weighed me 4 pounds heavier than the old one at the first day. From that I lost another 6 lbs. So... I guess That'd be 6 lbs weight loss on the old scale but I'm going to use the new one from now on and I'll count that as a total loss of 2 lbs because the new scale says I'm 99 kg now.
I'm going to tidy up my room and clean it now! Then a friend will stop by and later on we have this practical course at the university. I hope you have a great day!
