Sorry I haven't been around for several days. I have not been doing very well. I guess I overdid it and am suffering the consequences. I have been in so much pain and my whole body aches. I can barely move around. My husband has to help me with most anything that I do. I haven't been on the computer much as it hurts to sit here at it. I just wanted to check in. I am not sure when I'll check in again as it all depends if I can make it to sit at the computer for awhile. Hope everyone has a nice night and a great day tomorrow.

Hey everyone,

I had to stop and think... is today really only Monday? I feel horrible. I've been off my program since Friday, and I can feel the gain. I'm bloated and uncomfortable. I'm all out of whack in my life. Lots of changes. Tomorrow is a new day, and time to re-adjust. My best friends are moving away this week. One to Las Vegas, and the other to Florida. I have to figure out how to be alone in life. But at least my bad influences will be gone? So will my support system. My husband is great, but he deploys every other year and is leaving again in August. Tomorrow is a new day. I keep telling myself that.

I'll start sparking again tomorrow.

Hey everyone!

I'm back in Goettingen and I had very stressful days with no time to write in the forum. I'm so sorry! I tried to keep on tracking my nutrition and fitness though. Eating at my boyfriends is always a problem. He is so unorganized and forgets everything so even when I try to plan at least three meals per day and go shopping we often end up eating only one or two times and often even not at home because he forgot we were invited by his friends or granny or... Well, clearly not a good weekend in that respect. I'll try to get back on track from now on AND I'm going to weigh in tomorrow morning. I'm afraid of the scale, I bet I gained some at the weekend. At least I did my exercise and went running on friday.

Mom6, congrats on the 1 lb loss!

Cecelia, you're right about taking pictures of our walks! I'll do that for sure!
Good luck with your business! I saw a picture of your bows and I really like them. Good work!

Tracy, I'm so sorry! I hope you'll be better soon!

Shelly, I'd like to see the dresses, too! I'm curious!

Zoe you are awesome! I will take pictures today when my oldest decides to roll out of bed and can help me out.

I'm also getting my hair cut and colored this weekend. My profile pict shows me sort of blonde, that was 3 years ago. Right now I have med/dark brown hair. Thinking about going blonde again. When you see the picts, let me know what you think.

Tracy, I'm sorry you're having such a hard time with the new meds. It really sucks when what is suppose to make you better has side effects that make you worse (me and antibiotics, ugh). I wouldn't worry about the gain though because you know it's not from over eating, it's from the meds, maybe water retention? Just do what you can and don't give up. You are worth it.

Morning!

Sorry I've been absent. I'm really not enjoying this medicine. I am ok at 500mg/day, but I'm not at 500mg 2x/day. And it is keeping my stomach in constant upset. And it's REALLY affecting the scales, which is not making me want to be here either. How is it when everything you are putting INTO your body is EVACUATING it like people in a burning building, HOW can you possibly GAIN weight. Not just gain, but gain over 6lbs in a day. So yeah...I'm not feeling very sparky. :(

So today, I'm going to take it as easy as I can. Get my water in, eat good foods and pray it sticks around. I called the doc and she said to give it a couple of weeks to calm down. If I'm still sick, then we'll go back to 500/day.

I hope everything is going well you guys' way!

Mom6 - We are going to be in Galena. We've never been but have heard from many people what a great place it is. We're looking forward to seeing the family. Plus we haven't shared with anyone the weightloss we have had.

Ginger - Enjoy your light day at work today. Good job with the food and you will get into the swing of things with the exercise.

I shopped all weekend. I ended up with 2 outfits for the wedding but I need to narrow it down to 1. I am tempted to keep both. Maybe I'll take pictures and post them if I can't choose in the next day or 2. We took a couple of my husbands suits in to be tailored since they are falling off of him. I bought an exercise ball and resistance bands yesterday. I did a workout this morning. I have to be careful about the lower body exercises but all in all it was a really tough work out. I liked it!

I'll check back in later to see how everyone else is doing. Have a great day!

Yes, yes! Today is a slow day at work and then 2 days off. It's really a frustrating weekend when school is in session because we can't do fun family things on the weekends but during summer vacation it's nice because the parks and museums are less crowded.

I am having a great eating week. The new breakfast is really working out for me. Unfortunately, I haven't been doing so great getting exercise in. I'm not giving up though. I will have time today. emoticon

Good Morning, Ladies! It's Monday already...think most of us, well except Ginger, are back to work!

Zoe - was the produce good when you got it home? I love the Farmer's Mkt. Sorry about that watermelon...i hate when i drop things getting it IN the house!
