You could still eat their stuff, just limit how much of it you have. Or ask if you can order a child's portion. If that doesn't work, before you start eating ask for a to go carton so you can put the excess in there and save for another meal or two. And if you do go over your limit that day, don't be so rough on yourself. There ARE going to be exceptions. We just have to make sure that they are few and far between.

Hi all! Well I'm back earlier than I thought I would be. We didn't stay very long, thankfully! Being on the road for just a day and half and sticking to our program is not easy. Its hard to truly control the carbs I consume when I have to eat out. Cooking at home is a piece of cake but going to a restaurant is tough. I'm pretty sure the waitresses and cooks were annoyed with my orders. "Hold this, substitute that, can you do this instead?" I was a pain I will admit but I'm glad I did. I did get my excersize in at the hotel. They had a "fitness center" with a treadmill and bike. Not much but enough for me.

Now I'm worried what it will be like when we go out of town at the end of June. We'll have a house to stay in and cook most meals but we are supposed to go out one Friday with a huge group of people to a traditional italian place. Full of heavy sauces and pasta. The only veggie I could find was the house salad. And no lean meat either. Guess it will be 3 house salads and a glass of water for dinner that night.

Now if only I can find a way to keep this cold at bay that is trying desperately to invade my body. Wish me luck!

Happy Sunday people! I get up throughout the night. It's been this way since I was pregnant with my son. Sometimes I get heartburn and wake up to drink some milk. Otherwise, he still wakes up once a night or I have to go to the ladies. BUT so far, I haven't eaten anything. I think I'm too groggy to comprehend eating. I can't eat within an hour of getting up anyways. I'm just not a breakfast person. (Something I'm trying to get into the habit of!)

Malone545- EEP! Don't give me ideas! *L* I THOUGHT of it last night, but went on and counted it on yesterdays totals! *L* I have to get some of my exercise in after my son goes to sleep at night, so I've been counting those totals to the day before totals because of him not going to bed until late.

I just took a break to dance to disco with him. *L* He's almost a year and a half old and 30lbs. WOW am I sweating!

This is my challenge to you. There are no excuses! You have the interwebs, so I know you have access to youtube or something similar. Find the funkiest disco song and cut loose for the 3 some'odd minutes of the song. :) Just be silly and active like a kid. :) I just did it for 15 minutes and I'm having a blast!

Teachermom6 - I know exactly what you mean, I have not slept straight through the night for awhile now. I, too, find myself getting up to snack when I awaken.

Malone545 - lol. Been there done that.

My plans for the day are my daughter and son-in-law will be coming over and then we will work in the garden a bit. For the afternoon, we will be going to my nephew's for a potluck. I plan to have a huge salad before I leave because I am on my vegan kick - I am guessing there most likely will not be a lot of healthy choices.

I am bringing - whole wheat bread (we grind our grain and my mom asked for some)and Avocado-Chocolate Glazed cupcakes. It is a recipe I found in Vegetarian Times - I want to get some feedback on them BEFORE I tell them what the secret ingredient is. So, they will be introduced as chocolate cupcakes.

Pathetically, I was watching the clock last night and shortly after midnight, I ate 2 cookies just so that I could count it against today's calories and not yesterday's.

So sad.

Hey buddies:) Hoping that you had a good day yesterday! I'm still waking up in the middle of the night and eating something mindlessly. It's usually those horrible HOT feelings that wake me, then I wonder into the kitchen grab something and go back to bed barely knowing I ate it. Last night I laid out one WW Oatmeal/Raisin Cookie and left it on the counter. I ate that and slept on the couch where it was cooler, LOL. Hopefully my estrogen will regulate again..SOON?...and I'll be back to sleeping again. I'm wishing all of you a great Sunday! Be good to you, eat for fuel and a little for pleasure:), get those muscles going so we can burn all that excess fat that our bodies don't need. Cheers and Blessings for a great day!!
