My main goal is to reclaim my health - I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired

Next is to get down to 169 by my birthday (6-30) ... I'm starting with small goals
My ultimate size goal is to fit into my dress blues again so that I can take part in the parades and other such activities us vets partake of

The older girls and I want to run in the 5K sponsored by my youngest daughter's gymnastics team (it's in December)

I have some other longer term goals but I wanna get thru these shorter term goals first

Hmmm, my goals.

*I want to lose 5lbs by June 18th. That's my birthday.
*I want to be down a pant size by Aug. 16th. First day of classes.
*I want to do 20 girl push-ups in a minute.
*I want to do pilates and not feel like I'm dying.

I would like to be able to fit back into the clothes I wore when I met my husband. That would be huge!

Hmmm I have a lot of goals but to keep it concise:

1. to complete a 5K without walking then train for a marathon.

2. to dance regularly again. country-western, swing and bellydance.

Great question, i have a few things I hope to do in the future -

1)Next summer I want to go to a zip line park and experience it, I'm afraid of heights but thats one of the things I want to try, once the weight is off

2)Be able to go on the motorcycle, we have a smaller bike now and theres a weight limit, between the two of us at this point - were over it.

3)Skinny jeans instead of the plus size 18 now

4)Improve my self esteem and confidence

5)Get some whistles

Most importantly I want to feel good about myself and my body. I want to feel pretty, and be able to walk in a dress or skirt without feeling embarrassed. Also, I want to be able to jog/run a 10K at the end of the year.

I have 2 fitness goals as well as my weight goal.

By the end of the summer I want to be able to jog a 5k.

By October 1 I will reach my goal weight and be able to complete the Incline (hike in CO) in under 2 hours.

My goal for the future is to stay off of prescription medications. I don't want to be on diabetes meds, high cholesterol meds or blood pressure meds (like most of my family) if I can help it. I figured I'd have a better chance at doing that if I lost some weight. It's not a guarantee, I know, but at least I'll know that I did all that I could.

Well everyone, lets get some discussion started! Let me pose this question to you... What is the one thing that you hope to be able to do in the future do to your efforts to be more healthy and fit? Mine is long distance backpacking and maybe some mountain climbing!
