Thanks all. I just did what you said. It is a local place so it was one of those really flat burgers lol. Usually, we do make them at home, but I had to run to a meeting and didn't have time. But, I added lots of veggies to it to make it somewhat healthy :)

Another option is to search online for the nutrition information, available especially for chain-type restaurants (like Culver's) and you will find the information you need. Then you can add the nutritional data -- when you click on "Add a Food" there is an option to "add a food not listed". Type your information in there and it'll be there for you anytime you choose to eat that item again.

To record such a burger at a restaurant, often times you can name the restaurant and the food and it comes up. The condiments would be added separate unless it is entered as fully dressed.
Perhaps do not eat the cheese burger at a restaurant. They are full of bad things. If you really want one--cook it at home with lean burger and use a thin bun or pita bread.

That's how I would do it, too. Make sure you also include the bun unless the listing for "cheeseburger" specifies that the nutrition count includes the bun.

If you ate it at a chain restaurant, you might also try entering the name of the burger stand and doing the option where you include fast foods in the listing. I can't remember if you have check a box to include fast foods or check the box to leave them out.

Write on!

Hi, I'm not sure if I'm even recording my foods right. But what I do is type in cheeseburger. Then type in ketchup, pickles, lettuce, and then tomato.

Like I said, I don't know if this helps you, but try that and see what happens.

Today, I admit I had a cheeseburger with ketchup, pickles, lettuce and tomato. It was one of those flat cheeseburgers you get at a custard type stand. How would you record it? I can't figure out what it would be close to.

thanks,

Nina
