Ok,everyone...look for part 1 of our off season challenge on Valentine's Day! Because we are all at different fitness levels and different points in our weight loss goals, we're going to start off with challenges everyone can do and build in our difficulty levels. I'm also going to include options for everyone because obviously not everyone is going to be able to do all the same things. For example, I can't do certain exercises because I have bad knees and tendonitis in both ankles. I don't want anyone to feel they can't be a part of this because it is too hard or something they aren't supposed to do because of doctor's orders! I want everyone to be supportive of each other. If you are having a tough day, we will all be here to support you! So anyways, keep an eye out for our Off Season Challenge-week 1...starting on Monday, Feb. 14th!

Most of the ecxercises I found are listed in our strength training exercises on the fitness page so they would be easy to track as well. To make it easy and for all fitness levels, just have the challenge to do at least 1 touchdown 3 X a week and everyone can just choose what they can and/or will do. 3 touchdowns would be 21 exercises (sets) in 7 days - is this too much? I think as the weeks go on, the challenge needs to get harder - I'm not sure how that would be arranged. Maybe the person on the team who gets the most touchdowns by the end of the month gets the MVP trophy ?? Again - good luck! I think it sounds like ALOT of fun! You could even have two teams depending on the amount of people who join. The green team and the gold team perhaps.

That's not a bad idea! We just need to keep in mind that not everyone is going to be at the same fitness level, so we need to make it something that everyone will be able to do. I love the idea of a point per activity = touchdown! I'm going to work on getting this challenge together by the end of the week! Any other suggestions?? What were the best websites you found for the Packers' workouts?

I'm still on that SuperBowl high too! It made my year for the boys to win the big game! I already can't wait for pre-season!!! I'm hoping that next season I'll actually be able to go to a game!

YES - I want to do a challenge for the off season. One suggestion - find a listing of workouts or exercises the team does and challenge the team to do one of them for a full week - second week choose a new one - etc.....or daily or whatever. Give each exercise a team member name or something. I googled Green Bay Packers workouts and got several sites to check out....We could give each exercise a point and everyone needs to score 7 points by the end of the day or week to score a touchdown. OR list several exercises - give them all 1 point and everyone has to score a touchdown 5 times a week or 3 or whatever. Lets see how many touchdowns we would have each month collectively....

GO PACK GO! We are still walking on air after the game - or should I say the whole season. My husband is in such a great mood this week too!

Good Luck getting this together. Team leaders are awesome! It is a great responsibility and I commend you for taking on this role!! Thanks so much!

Well,it's official...football season is over *sad face*...so we have 6 months until preseason starts. As a team leader, I'm thinking maybe we should do an off season fitness challenge of some sort? What do ya'll think? Any ideas for what the challenge should be??

Our Green Bay Packers are the best team (which we already knew!) and now the whole world knows it....so let's make our Spark Team just as awesome! We're already in the top 15(last time I checked) in both points and fitness minutes, so let's aim for number 1 in both categories! I know we can do it! GO PACK GO! emoticon
