Lunch - chopped salad with pomegranate seeds, feta and olive oil vinegarette
Snack - cashews
Dinner - spaghetti squash & pork chop

Exercise - 30 minutes lateral x elliptical and 20 minutes weight machines

Tomorrow I will - drink more water!

Breakfast - bone broth, coffee with half and half, apple (forgot my breakfast at home!)
Lunch - chopped salad with leftover salmon, sliced almonds and dried cherries with white balsamic vinegarette dressing
Snacks - KIND bar - nuts and spices, cashews
Dinner - spaghetti squash, turkey parmesan, bow tie pasta, garlic bread, wine

Tomorrow I will....get a good workout in and drink lots of water!

Brunch: 3 pumpkin waffles with margarine,hot tea, can of Arizona half and half lite

Lunch: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich

Dinner: Chipotle burrito bowl with white rice, grilled veggies, carnitas, mild salsa, corn salsa, cheese, and lettuce, about 1/2 of the chips and guac, water

Evening Snack: popcorn

A healthy choice I made today was getting lots of freggies at dinner. I should have opted for the salad but the rice was fresh and too tempting.

Dinner: 3 ribs, green beans, coleslaw, roll, 4 pieces of fried okra, minutemaid light with some unsweet tea mixed in

Snack: Chocolate cookie

A healthy choice I made today: I chose veggies as my side instead of fries or fried okra at Dickey's BBQ

So... today was a really bad eating day for me but it started out all wrong because I didn't even try to eat breakfast until 11am. I usually fail on days where I wait that long and yesterday was not an exception. I also then never really ate lunch. Dinner was out as DH wanted to celebrate my new opportunity.

Breakfast: One bite of life cereal ( the almond milk with extra protein I bought is nasty. Going back to our regular brands and just searching for other protein options.) 2 slices of toast

Snack: Milky Way Simply Caramel, mini starbursts (Ok, I should have thrown these out. No only because I didn't need the sugar but because they didn't taste good but I was hungry and fell into the trap of eating crap simply because it was there. )

Dinner: @Red Robin, lettuce wrapped burger with tomato, pickle, mustard, fries, gingerbread shake, water

Snack: Vanilla Moon Pie

The only things that tasted good to me yesterday were the milky way and the burger. I need to remember that if it doesn't taste good and it has no health value, there is no point in eating it.

A Healthy Choice I made Today: Getting my burger wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun.

Tomorrow I will: Eat breakfast by 930am and eat more freggies

Snacks: greek yogurt with pumpkin flax granola

Healthy choice I made today was to stick to my planned food and do my intended exercise.
Tomorrow I will continue to avoid sugary foods and bad carbs

UPDATE: went home from work, did the elliptical for 40 minutes then ate kale chips, parm cheese crisps, and potato chips. FAIL!

Dinner: Chicken Sausage, Peppers & Onions, diet coke

Evening Snack: Ice Cream, Diet Coke

A healthy choice I made today was: NONE. Not a healthy nutrition day for me.....

Tomorrow I will remember to: Stop the snacking.

Breakfast: 2 vinta crackers, 1 oz buddig beef, apple, 5 pecan halves, water

Morning Snack: 2 Vinta crackers, 1 oz buddig beef, 58 grams raspberries

Lunch: Banana, gas station cappuccino

Afternoon Snack: Banana, 1/4 of a lara bar

Dinner: Big Mac Meal (Late after a seminar as I ran out of time to eat before it and then let DH influence my choices in the end. I should have stuck to my guns and come home to eat soup).

A healthy choice I made today was my breakfast and morning snack.

Tomorrow I will avoid the drive through.

Breakfast: green smoothie

Morning Snack: small apple

Lunch: chicken breast, mixed veggies. Then one of the owners came in with her small daughter who gave us a little bag of candy and I ate Dumb Dumb and tootsie roll.

PM Snack: small apple, 2 tbs peanut butter

Dinner: Chinese: rice, beef & brocolli, egg roll, fortune cookie

Healthy choice I made was to not eat any left over donuts! and stick with what I brought

Tomorrow I will track my full day in the nutrition tracker and I will focus on freggies. I copied this from Chris but I'm actually doing the same thing! I thought I entered yesterday's food in the tracker and started entering in today's dinner. Then saw that I entered yesterday's to today along with today. So I started removing and FOR GET IT!! I'll just make sure to journal tomorrow. And start the weekend right!

Breakfast: 2 egg cups, bone broth

Lunch: tofu italian sausage, greek salad, apple, angelfood cake cupcake

Afternoon snack: halloween candy :(

Supper: ham slice, mac and cheese :(

Tomorrow I will...keep my paws out of the candy dish!

Breakfast: 2 pumpkin waffles with butter and syrup, apple juice, water, tea

Morning Snack: powerade

Lunch: Cheese pizza, coffee

Dinner: Jason's Deli- 1 cup pork and sweet potato soup, 2 bowls of salad, a small scoop of pasta pearl salad, small scoop of chocolate mouse, small scoop of banana pudding, small dish of soft serve topped with almonds, 1 glass sprite mixed with lemonade, tea, water

Healthy choice I made was choosing soup and salad bar instead something else.

Tomorrow I will track my full day in the nutrition tracker and I will focus on freggies.

Breakfast: green smoothie

Morning Snack: pumpkin cake donut

Lunch: 1/2 italian sausage (left over from dinner), trader joe's mixed chopped veggies, mixed cooked veggies (left over from dinner)

Afternoon Snack: blueberry cake donut

Dinner: chicken breast, corn, boiled red potato, margerine, pineapple chunks

Evening Snack: None

A healthy choice I made today was: having the pineapple chunks for desert instead of the chocolate cake that hubby and my girlfriend had

Tomorrow I will remember to: leave the donuts alone! Eat what I pack and that is it. I could have had the apples that I packed for snacks.

I am worth the effort it takes to keep track. I learn from watching and tweaking what I eat!

Breakfast: Two corn tortilla quesadilla, diet coke

Morning Snack: None

Lunch: Nutella & pretzel, Mars snack pack, diet coke (Ugh!)

Afternoon Snack: None

Dinner: Ribeye steak, steamed cauliflower, peas, diet coke

Evening Snack: None

A healthy choice I made today was: Making steamed cauliflower instead of potatoes

Tomorrow I will remember to: Plan better and stay away from the candy.

Breakfast: apple, 2 cups of coffee

Lunch: spinach and kale salad with green olives, feta, balsamic dressing, 3 chicken tenders, small banana

Afternoon snack: animal crackers (whoa, gotta stop there and do better the rest of today)

Supper: 2 egg cups with onion, spinach and kale, cheddar cheese, glass of wine

Evening snack:coconut oil nut bark

Tomorrow I will...avoid candy like the plague!

Breakfast: Two eggs scrambled with onions, real bacon bits and a sprinkling of cheddar cheese. Oh...and an 8 oz glass of 2% milk.

Morning Snack: Small banana, diet coke

Lunch: Can of Light Progresso soup, 2 ounces of cheddar cheese, diet coke

Afternoon Snack: One lightly frosted gingerman cookie (tiny in size...all natural, organic from sprouts...about 60 calories), diet coke

Dinner: Two grilled brautwurst; sauted red, green, yellow and orange peppers with onion & olive oil, diet coke

Evening Snack: One lightly frosted gingerman cookie

A healthy choice I made today was: Light soup for lunch instead of fast food.

Tomorrow I will remember to: Drink lots of water instead of diet coke

I went overboard today. I did put everything into the food tracker. I think part of it is that I have had several lower calorie days in a row so I was really hungry earlier but part of it was just plain saying forget it. I DIDNT cave to the candy monster though and even shopped at Walmart and Walgreens without buying any candy or junk food.

Breakfast: peanut butter and banana sandwich, apple juice, tea, water

Morning Snack: popcorn

Lunch: Potato chips, fruit twist

Afternoon Snack: N/A

Dinner: onion rings, hamburger, 2 corn dogs

Breakfast was my healthiest choice of the day as well as taking an extra walk around WalMart for extra steps.

Tomorrow I will make a healthy choice for lunch and dinner.

I was very bad today. A co-workers wife came in with big, soft chocolate chunk cookies and for some reason I decided it would be a good idea. I paid for it the rest of the day. Note to self. Don't do that!

Otherwise, felt good about the rest of the day:

Breakfast: smoothie (spinach, celery, banana, mango, pumpkin, raw honey, chia seeds) - 12oz

Snack: small apple, 2 trader joe's crackers

Lunch: left over 1/2 italian sausage, mixed frozen veggies, Trader Joe's chopped veggy mix

Snack: celery with peanut butter, 2 trader joe's crackers

Dinner: (low budget today) - 2 hot dogs, 1 bun, pork and beans, 1/4 c edy's slow churned iced cream & 1/2 c chocolate cake. That wasn't great either but I had planned on the ice cream; just not the cake.

Ok, tomorrow is more focus on what my body wants and not what my brain and taste buds think I want!

October 29th

Breakfast - apple, chicken bone broth

Snack - slivered almonds

Lunch - green salad with hard boiled egg, caesar dressing

Afternoon Snack: chips, turkey pepperoni slices, pepper jack cheese, piscachio pie, dark chocolate bar, apple

Supper: homemade chicken noodle soup and half of a grilled cheese

I notice that I am not getting enough protein throughout the day - I am letting myself get too hungry. My plan is to make some egg cups that I can grab for breakfast and make some of my coconut candy (sugar free) that I can eat for a sweet. I am going to leave early for my class tonight to stop at the grocery first to get those ingredients.

Tomorrow I will not let myself get too hungry.

Breakfast: 1 slice pepperoni pizza

Morning Snack: nothing

Lunch: homemade chicken noodle soup, spinach salad

Afternoon Snack: recese peanut butter cups, carmels (in the car on the way home from PA)

Dinner: small part of a stromboli

Evening Snack: none

A healthy choice I made today was: stopping at the gym to burn off the candy and pizza I ate in PA and while traveling home

Tomorrow I will remember to: make the healthiest choice possible from the options I have.

Evening Snack: 1/2 cup Edy's slow churn fudge tracks

A healthy choice I made today was: planning, eating what I packed and nothing else, drinking lots of water

Tomorrow I will remember to: do the same thing. Lots of planning, packing and journaling

Lunch: peanut butter, 2 fruit leather snacks

Afternoon Snack: N/A

Dinner: pasta with broccoli and cheese, cherries

Evening Snack: popcorn and a fruit twist

A healthy choice I made today was: Not doing an errand that would have placed me in a very tempting situation.

Tomorrow I will: Eat breakfast earlier and eat less processed freggies that I bought tonight.
