Well, this is not so much a trick, but I did discover that you can access some of the shows from the food network on ESBM at the following website. Was fun to watch them in action!

Hey, those are great. I like the one about the pizza, but unfortunately, I'm not eating pizza these days, hope I remember it for when I start again. I'll have to get this book from the library to check it out. I only have Loonyspoons and it's getting pretty ragged looking.

Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance!

2017 and I am back again... up and down the same 5 lbs, this time on the higher side of 200, depressing since I had stayed just under 200 for almost a year.
Slim is where I wanted to be in 201 & 2011! Never happened, plateaued for a long time and gave up... got off track, but never left, so am back on track again!!! Make 2012 my year! So far, did finally lose 25 lbs. over the summer, but have found about 11 of it so far, it didn't hide g

I only have Eat Shrink and Be Merry (obviously looking into buying the other 2 books now) - but I can't tell you how much I've learned about working my way around in the kitchen just from using this book! What are some helpful hints you've encountered (from the books or just general info you'd like to share for fellow cooks)

- To slice beef thinly, partially freeze it. Much easier to cut. (ESBM)

- Pre-bake your pizza crusts by poking a fork in the rolled dough and bake for about 6 minutes. This makes for a fluffier and more filling crust! (ESBM)

- Just cover cracks in cheesecakes with fruit (ESBM)

- How to make a taco-bowl for salads and veggie spreads! see blog here

Okay, I know there's more I just have to think of them!
