Thank you Dawn for the wealth of information given ways of opportunity to improve ones self.

I would like to add, that each step of the way is
recorded as success.
It isn't how much you do, it's how you do it.
Choose a goal and do the best you can to be an
achiever.
I am renewing myself on much needed sleep. In order for my body to heal properly. Drinking my water and eating a lot of fruits, and salad.

My best wishes to everyone, on there journey, of Nutritional Health.

I was an OA member at one time. There are specific exercises that go with each step. Do you also have the list of activities that go with each step?

Oh, thank you, Dawn. This is so true. I'm going to print it out and post it on my wall - and my fridge.

You can be the hammer, making things happen, or you can be the nail that sits there and gets pummeled over and over. It's time to start being the hammer.

A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart, and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words.

The 12 Steps of Nutritional Health

Step 1 - We admitted we were powerless over the wrong foods - that our eating habits had become unmanageable.

Step 2 - Came to believe that a support system and faith could restore us to a healthy life

Step 3 - Made a decision to turn our nutritional will and lives over to the source of our faith.

Step 4 - Made a searching and fearless nutritional inventory of our eating habits.

Step 5 - Admitted to the source of our faith, to ourselves and to our support system the exact nature of our unhealthy eating habits.

Step 6 - Were entirely ready to help the source of our faith remove all our nutritional defects.

Step 7 - Humbly asked the source of our faith to assist us in removing our nutritioal shortcomings.

Step 8 - Made a list of all body parts we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all.

Step 9 - Made direct amends to such body parts whenever possible through proper eating habits and exercise, except when to do so would injure them further.

Step 10 - Continued to take nutritional inventory and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it.

Step 11 - Sought through prayer and meditation, a continued relationship with the source of our faith, seeking the strength to maintain healthy lives.

Step 12 - Having been renewed as the result of these steps, we encourage hope in others through our display of proper nutritional behavior and integrity.
