My biggest is time. I have been so crazy busy that I do not take the time to track my food and working out gets sidelined. :( I am hoping things are going to slow down a bit in the next month. I have to leave for a 3 week road trip for work so I will be doing my best.

My biggest challenge is my many food allergies/intolerances.

I can't eat lots of foods that most people can and the substitutions tend to be less healthy so I generally try to avoid many of them. Sometimes though, I get to feeling like I'm deprived when so many others are eating goodies that I can't and consequently eat safe-for-my-allergies stuff that I shouldn't in quantities that I shouldn't.

Sigh...

My biggest challenge presently is getting enough sleep.

When I DO get enough sleep, the world of health and fitness seems easier to navigate and I have both the energy and drive to adhere to healthy-living ways (and can be more rational about when to blur the lines I've drawn for myself).

When I don't get enough sleep, I rationalize the unhealthy food choices and tell myself I don't have enough energy to exercise - its a bad cycle to be in - SO, Sleep is huge for me.

My biggest challenge has been the mentality of "I am so stressed...(insert favorite cheat food here) will help me feel better."

A bad day automatically makes me feel that I am entitled to that over-sized candy bar, bag of Chinese food, and extra sized Coke Zero. Truth of the matter is I'm unintentionally sabotaging myself.

hmmmm, mine is more dealing with the stories and beliefs, most from childhood, about food, self and ability to lose. I find I'm still working on breaking through the fears especially since I was criticized for being thinner than other family when I was a kid. I'm still giving myself permission to be as healthy as I can imagine!

My biggest challenge has also been food, specifically sweets. I enjoy exercise, but I apparently love snacking more!

What has been your biggest challenge so far on your weight loss journey?

For me it's food. I love food, I love tasty food, and I love to eat lots of it.

Keeping myself at 2000 or less calories has been hard for me to do. It was easy at first because it was all shiny and new and exciting, but now all of the temptations are settling in again.
