I'm in the "health for life quality" camp myself. Definitely my top motivator is shiny life quality (not being sidelined from my own or my family's lives b/c of my own health).

Once I reach my current goals, I have my sights set on Parkour...

My main ones:
Health! I don't want to deal with the problems that have plagued family members. Diabetes, high blood pressure and cancer.
I want to be able to squat 150lbs and bench 100, I want to feel strong. That is when I feel my best.

I was just listening to a podcast today about losing weight and motivators and the podcaster made an excellent point. We should have a list of things we want to do once we are at that weight (or close to it) that we are striving for. Here's mine...what's yours?

1. Firefly - Go to the local ComicCon next year as Zoe and feel sexy doing it
2. Ride a horse for the 1st time ever
3. Paddleboard
4. Join a softball or kickball league with my spouse
5. Go to the beach in a bathing suit
6. Start swimming and practicing yoga again
7. Wear dresses more
8. Wear shorts in the summer!
9. Start my own business
10. Help others with their weight issues
