I know! I am just hoping that with the warm weather that everyone is out enjoying the sun shine and living life. I hope that I can keep up with posting here also. I somehow (and don't ask me how) am now getting notices when something is posted here. It makes it easier to check in.

Been doing ok. I ate a porterhouse steak for supper yesterday! OMG!! I was not planning on eating the whole thing. It was a treat for all the hard work that my husband, daughter and I did in the yard this weekend. I decided that we were going to grill good steaks. We never grill good steaks. Now I know why!! I eat too much!

Anyway, today is another day and I did my 1/2 mile this morning and will do another on at lunch. My protein shake is sitting next to me as I type and all if good in my world!

HI there, doesn't seem to be many that come in here any more. I have been deleteting alot of my rooms that no one goes into. Reading my last post under this thread was weird. I really have to quit taking these "breaks". I am on a streak now!! 2 day!! LOL! I am eating right and walking 1/2 mile in the morning before work and another 1/2 mile at lunch. I plan on adding some walk time after supper this week. We will see how that goes.

The next few weeks are going to be busy for me with work. I am keeping a positive attitude about it that I am going to stick with my plan and kick plugging along.

Still plugging along here. I kind of took a month off. Was a little depressed and I allowed it to last longer then it needed to. But as of yesterday, I am back on track. Ok, maybe not 100% with my eating, but I did do an hour on the treadmill. It was a slow walk but I did over a mile and a half. Ok, it was 1.6miles at 1.6 mph. But I got off my lazy butt and got moving!! I really need to build up my lung function because next year I want to try my hand at archery hunting a pronghorn. I have x-rays next week and will ask my oncologist about seeing the pulmanolgist (sp) about an inhaler just to open up the lung and 1/2 that I have left. I want to move and do things outside, but still feel like I am breathing through water. But heck, I'm still breathing and that's what counts.
