No parties. No buffets. Just my sweetie and me eating a steak with onions and mushrooms. My sister is having dinner at one of her stepsons' place. Their house was just purchased by Sister's husband. The step son is going to fix it up and sell it. Then by another and flip it.

My problem is the sweets. I will try sipping on tea, that way I feel like I'm socializing without partaking too much. It also helps to remind myself that it is the fellowship that I want more than the food.

Before going out or to a party drink plenty of water or eat some fresh fruit to curve your appetite so you don't go overboard with food.When going to a buffet or a party go for the soups loaded with vegetables and clear broth.For the salads plenty of veggies and fresh fruit with a vinegarette instead of creamy dressings.Also have the dressing on the side.I like to try different pasta salads and crab meat salad on the side of my salad.When we eat out we don't know how they prepare the foods.But at parties you can ask the host how the food is prepared so you don't undo your diet,go out of your calorie range or even go over board on your sodium intake.Be cautious and aware but remember to have fun.You can have fun without going crazy,because in the end we will hate ourselves and say woulda shoulda coulda emoticon

I am out to lose this weight once and for all.i have to keep this weight off,so I will have good health.
