If you haven't already, read my blog. We are doing the same at his dad's house only both of them have passed and we have the house to clean out.

We won't worry about the fries, since you weren't on SP yet and didn't know. Just know that you will be held accountable for the rest of the week though....LOL

I messed up already by having some fries at lunch today, but I had not been on Spark People yet.
Been having some fun at my inlaws house lately. They have to prepare to sell their home because are at the stage of going to a retirement home. Wow, do they ever have a lot of stuff!!! Been in the same house for probably over 50 years.

Hello Team!!

I have been under the weather this week. Very sore throat and upset stomach.

I gained weight last week. My weigh in is Monday mornings, but I checked this morning. Down two pounds!! It might just be from being sick though LOL. I did try ou the Sparkpeople Boot camp workout and really liked it. I also went to the gym before I got sick. Can I blame it ont the workouts? Just kidding!

The deep fried food challenge will be fun. I'm in. Where I live we have monthly potlucks, so this will be interesting. June is salads.

Although I still have the sore throat, I plan on doing the Bootcamp workout more as well as planning my meals for the week. Still tricky for me, although I eat what is on the meal planner, I make many last minute changes.

I am dealing with good strss for the next 2-3 weeks. I live in low income housing, but I live in a beauiful 3 level townhouse. My landlady offered me and my girls a 3 bedroom place in the same complex. It will be a quick move. I may only have 2-3 weeks to pack, move, and clean. The woman that lived there before has been kicked out. Let's hope she goes.

I have really been out of things this last week and I apologize for that. I hope that you had a great week and that this next week will be better.

How was last week for you? Let's hear some replies this week and really dwell on what we could have done different or what worked for you.

I have a challenge for everyone this coming week. I haven't had ANY deep fried foods for a long time. It is something that upsets my body and makes me gain. Well, that was proven again with the pot luck at work last week. Two, not one, but two people brought in deep fried foods and I caved in. But I am sure paying for it with a 1.5 lbs gain this week. Now, I realize that deep fried foods is something that I MUST stay away from. How about you?

I challenge everyone to NOT eat anything deep fried this week. That includes chips, McDonalds french fries (sorry), breaded foods like fish, etc. Read labels and make sure that you aren't heating up something in the microwave that was previously deep fried. I'll bet that everyone will lose this week by just cutting out deep fried foods.
