Okay, I'm old and slow...but somehow finally managed to catch-up and catch-on! Today I am wearing my new "talking" pedometer and so far have walked over 3,000 steps and it's just 2:30 pm!! I think I can do the 5,000 steps!

I just noticed that there were 11 members that signed up for the 2000 step goal, but there were only 4 that participated in reaching it. Where are the other 7 members that signed up? Come on group, let's get going together!! We can't get this weight off if we don't move. If you swim instead of walk, enter that into the steps by counting your strokes or walking in water. That is the best way to keep your joints moving and relieve some of your pain. There will be some days that you won't be able to do this, but try to push yourself on those days that you THINK you could.

We met our first goal as a team. Now I have set a new goal for the end of this month....5000 steps a day!!! We did so well with the 2000 that I needed to challenge us, so I upped it to 5000/day. I know we can do it, so let's get moving!!!
