Did my Day 13 yesterday plus 30 minutes of walking. Challenges. The office in my house where the computer resides is messy, so right now it's hard to find a free wall when I need it. Also had to walk inside the last couple of days. Our building is like an atrium, so I use the 6th floor as a walking track! Got at least 8 hours of sleep last night... I love Saturdays! I get to sleep for 8 hours or more!

My body needed a rest day yesterday so I took the day off from exercise. I did get in 7.5 hours of sleep though.

I plan to do the Friday and Saturday Video today along with going for a run....

On the way home, I planned to sit and watch TV. Then I thought about not meeting my Spark Goals and decided to do at least 5 min walking.

Got the video done and cardio twice today a really brisk walk after my students left - to try and work out the agitation they left me with (I teach emotionally disturbed HS - and some were really acting up today)
When I logged it into my fitness tracker it told me I burned too many calories for what I'm eating - I should really be slimming down soon! I'm looking forward to the challenge tonight.

Day 13 already?

Did my workout video this morning.

I got Just Dance for Wii today and did a few songs of that. OMG, that's SO much fun. I love it. I'm sure I'll be getting a lot more cardio tonight with that. emoticon

Did Week 1 Day 2 of Couch 2 5k today. I was a sweaty mess afterwards but it feels good. :)

It's only 5pm here and my Bodybugg shows that I've burned 2011 calories. Going to have a nice deficit today. emoticon emoticon

Bonus challenge will definitely be met.

Completed Bootcamp day 13 workout and did 42 minutes of cardio this morning. I must be getting stronger because I did the pushups off my knees this time!! I was so proud of myself. I have been doing pushups every day for about a month. Starting off doing modified on my knees, now I am able to do about 9 or 10 regular pushups. I will be doing 50 pushups a day in no time!!

Managing to do videos this week but cardio has been out of the question with this cold. I have been in bed all week. Todays challenge (getting 7-8 hours sleep) will be no problem for me. I will make up the cardio when I feel better.

Got my strength and the video done before work. Off to do the rowing machine for cardio in about an hour. I usually take Thurs. and Sat. off from formal cardio but the sun was shining yesterday and it was above freezing so I JUST HAD TO go out for a run!!! And, tomorrow (suppose to be an off day) is going to be spent (3 hours) at the roller skating rink. So much for a day off from cardio! Sleep won't be a problem tonight. No reason to get up before 7am tomorrow (that is the time the kids wake up).

I'm amazed by how much I feel that arm workout with the ball! I had to do a double cardio workout this morning to make up for yesterday...

Love this upper body video. No cardio today, no time anymore before leaving -- I'm off to Atlantic City for the weekend! Will be sure to do some ab exercises in my room on Sat to make up for tomorrow's video, and get in as much walking around as I can! And maybe some swimming in the pool?

Hey, guys. I am checking in after being sick a week. Still not feeling well, and still didn't sleep very well, but I'm noticing that when I exercise, I sleep like a baby and am not up tossing and turning until 3AM like I am when I don't exercise. I'm disappointed that I missed a whole week of bootcamp, but hopefully the last 2 1/2 will be enough to set positive habits.

Well, the challenge for today will NOT be a problem - I almost NEVER get less then 7 hours sleep, and usually get closer to 8. Will do my workout this evening.

This 5 times a week cardio is getting to be a drag, though! I'll keep it up for the sake of completing the bootcamp challenge, but my body is happier, I think, getting at least a day off in between bouts of vigorous exercise.

emoticon Read the Sleep article and did the quiz...10 out of 10 correct.

However, the sleep thing is going to be a real problem for me. Went to bed around 10 last night and have been up since 2:30 this morning. Chronic pain, plus over 30 years of working 3rd shift, has wreaked havoc with sleeping.

I won't do a power nap today...though I was getting ready to do that when I up-dated my status earlier.

I'll be doing the video later...have to find the pump for my stability ball...SOMEONE deflated it while I was in Nebraska emoticon

Day 13 video and cardio DONE! sleeping minimum 8 hrs tonight shouldn't be a problem.. having friends over tonight so will probably get to bed late, but don't have to get up early for anything tomorrow! my something new yesterday was tryin out my pedometer.. and i'm about to try the recipe of the day, single serving mixed fruit/yogurt smoothie...mmmmm... :)

I'm getting the hang of most of the videos, but the triceps dips on the ball still have me flailing about ungracefully. I did stationary dips instead.

Video done. I will ice skate today for my cardio.

The sleep will be no problem since I regularly get 8 - 10 hours. I am retired now but my whole life I have needed that much sleep to be able to function.

Bootcamp - emoticon

Going to try to fit in some cardio once I get home tonight after my 4 hour drive....I may need to move a little from being so stiff!!
