Did the day 5 video (twice) and stretching. Just didn't have time or inclination for cardio, so I think I'll double up on that tomorrow.

Loved the knees to chest stretch, and was happy to notice how much closer my knees come to my chest, now that I've lost 57 pounds! Curled together like that I was feeling positively small! emoticon

Day 5 was a challenge for me, starting with the challenge of getting down on the floor flat on my back without getting dizzy. But I recovered and continued. This is a video I should probably do more often. I can barely raise my knees, let alone get them to my chest. And that's just the stretching. But I'm still going strong, like the energizer bunny.

While this says day 5, it is my day 4, due to time difference. today an office mate and I walked Officers Row, which is slightly over 2 miles--it was great to get out into the brisk, fresh air. We kept up a good pace, but not too fast--about a 17 minute mile. The rest of the day was office work, and then home to veg in the chair.

I am really loving the bootcamp workouts. It is almost like a nice refresher course on many excercises I forgot about. Love the variety too. Doing a home renovation so spent 2 hours hauling trash and demo debris. Counted that as my cardio. Did the lower body workout and the bonus stretching.

I really love these bootcamp videos. I did the day 5 one twice, plus 2 miles on the treadmill in a half hour. No time for the bonus though. We're even on vacation, and I got the cardio done in the hotel gym!! (The eating part is a bit off, though...)

All done. Had a late start but got it done before midnight! The snow helped with the cardio this afternoon.

Hi Sparkling Boot Camp Buddies!

Day 5 is complete!!

Did my 30 min cardio
Did the lower body workout video
stretched a lot, didn't do the spark lower body stretch but did more than enough stretching today!!

On to day 6! Woo hoo. Can't believe we are almost through the first week! I feel better already. Can't wait to experience how great I will be feeling at the end of the month.

I did it! My thighs were screaming. I also did 55 min of jazzercise, and level 1 of the 30 day shred. I had to burn off a few extra calories I had at lunch.

Day 5 done...plus some running, walking, and painting to round it off! The bridges were entertaining to get the hang of but I really felt my legs working! It is nice to be forced to use my ball more...I am a little intimidated by it!

I've done all 5 days of the bootcamp - the videos, the 30 minutes of cardio and most of the extra chellenges. Because I've been in a rut for a long time, I am so pleased that I am climbing out of the rut!

I did 3 miles with my Lesile Sansone walking videos and one with 4 sections of toning. Then I did the Boot Camp day 5 video. I do feel so much better afterward. I just wish I could get motivated to do it sooner. I can tell I am losing inches this week. That feels great.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

day 5 complete. i did some circuit training as my cardio workout and earlier today I walked at a pretty fast pace to my meeting from my car which was about 5 min. i feel a bit better despite the snow

Man - I am feeing wiped out tonight. My thighs got a work out but I also could really feel the residual tightness from yesterday's ab workout. It's as if a ring of muscles all around my stomach is feeling it while the muscles actually over my stomach are feel relaxed and at ease.

Learning something new about my body every day.

I felt the burn quite a bit after the 3rd set. The first set I added ankle weights & the last 2 I used resistance bands & did 20 reps for all sets. I guess that's why my legs SHOUTED at me! All in all, it felt good.


Everyday is a new day, just think positive and take one day at a time.

Competed day 5, doing the legs was nice excepted the lifting leg with crossover. Can doing the electric slide for 15mins be considered cardio and placed under line dancing. Tomorrow Cha Cha Slide lol. Everyone good start , we're halfway done with week one.

Done for the day, and YAY! This is my favorite New Year's workout resolution yet, because I am setting myself up for success by building good workout habits, and not torturing myself with out-of-control super workouts that are not fit for the encouragement of beginners! I used to be very fit and for the past few years I would start crazy fitness plans that I would have had no problem with 'back in the day.' But when you take a lot of time off, even if your brain thinks you are still at the same fitness level, your body knows different! Spark Bootcamp is AWESOME because the workouts are short enough to be fun, and I can't wait for the next workout to come, instead of dreading it! And the bonus goals each day? Brilliant! Looking forward to another few weeks with you guys!!!

Got to finally play Your Shape for cardio. What a workout. They're right when they say this isn't just a game, this is a real workout. Kicked my butt but felt accomplished. Did the optional challenge as well. Was thankful for the stretching since that is one of Your Shape's downfalls (2-3 stretches for a minute after 30 minutes of cardio? Make sure you have your own stretches ready). And I'm going to do the challenge video right now. *dances around in pure bliss*

four mile walking video before school = 50 min
approx. two mile brisk walk in the halls after kids leave = 30 min
today's video = 10 min
bonus stretch video = 3 min

Done with the video and I went walking for 45 minutes. I found that todays video was a little more challenging then the others, but it felt really good! I am sooo excited about this bootcamp! It is really motivating me to get in my exercise!
