Just finished my day 2 bootcamp workout. It was definitely harder then I thouhgt it would be. I also did cardio for 30 I kept it at a walk because I woke up with a headache, but tomorrow I will kick it to a jog. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Last year I worked out by biking or walking 60 minutes 7 days a week. Although I feel great, lowered my cholesterol, and legs looking better, my overall weight is still the same. I am going to change and follow a new routine, new diet, and get cracking on the weight LOSS! Looking forward to this teams momentum.

Hi, everyone! That balance ball really showed me how weak my knees are, which really throws off balance! Lol! Hopefully, by the end of the month, it'll be a breeze! Lol! emoticon

OK! Why is it that I always think that 10 minutes is not enough time to put into an exercise session!? I think it's because,in my head, I'm still 35 and teaching fitness classes at the gym! LOL!!!

WHEW! After Day 1, I was wondering why I was here... Not being able to do most of the vidoe was really discouraging and depressing!

Day 2 was a walk in the park! LOVED IT! and, I was able to do everything, including the one legged squats. Not as low down perhaps, but I DID IT!

I loved the stability ball lower body workout. I typically do a lot of squats and lunges, but this was so much more challenging. Bring on day 3!

This was a difficult one...I felt like my stability ball was going to pop out from behind me; I've not used one before...are you supposed to use it to support you?? Am going to make a quick breakfast cause I'm hungry and then shower and off to work!

I hope to get in my cardio this evening!

Great job everyone for getting started so easily! Let's keep it up, all!

I agree with the statements about the "stability" ball. I was sure I must be crazy as I was wobbling all over the place!

I saw FroggieGal asked below about a tracker - how did people record in their fitness trackers? I saw the single leg calf raises and the squats with dumbell...couldn't find the lunges and - was there something else? oh - and I didn't count how many reps we did.

I'm hoping to make it down to the treadmill at work to get my cardio in today. It's Year End so I work like 18 hour days but -really want to fit it in!

I have to substitute some exercises also due to medical issues. I think the most important thing is that we keep moving and work on the areas that are in the daily work out. Congratulations on day 2. We will all make it!

Well, I survived the Day 1 video yesterday and did Day 2 video early this am. My plan is do the video in the early am and check them off my list. Today's video was kind of a challenge as I don't have a vacant wall in my livingroom where the computer is. I had to use a 4x4 support beam. I made it work, but it was difficult.

I already have one serving of fruit (1/2 cup of mixed berries in my yogurt for breakfast) and brought a banana and orange for my snacks.

I am really hoping to get my cardio workout in at lunchtime today with my workout buddy. If that doesn't work out, I'll have to hit the treadmill tonight.

Just did the lower body/stability ball workout for Day 2. It was great but I have to say I'm kind of relieved I wasn't the only one out here wobbling a little bit ;).

How are you all getting in your 30 minutes of cardio today? I'm planning on a lunchtime workout at the gym near my office.

Just finished Day 2 video. It wasn't too bad but I was a little unstable (especially during the one legged squats). I am going to try to do it again before my little one wakes up. Cardio will happen later today during her nap.

Just did the day 2 workout - great intensity using the stability ball. But I think "stability" might be a misnomer - I had some serious balance issues! :) Good thing I was near a desk to hang on to for those one legged squats! Now I need to figure out how to track that workout. I couldn't find it in my fitness tracker anywhere! Any suggestions?

Olympian- Day 1 is the only one you can't simply add from the video. Go to your fitness tracker, click on add cardio, and in the drop down box go to other exercises. Scroll down to SparkPeople, and the Jump Start video is there, then put in how many minutes you did. For all the others there should be a button at the bottom of the video screen to click and it will add it to your strength training on the fitness tracker.

For anyone with knee issues- try one of the other SP cardio videos if the jump start is too much- there are several, and they all get you moving. Don't start with the Jump Rope one though- that's as much jumping as this!!

Heading over to do Day 2, and then out for a 5 mile run!! 1 serving of fruit down already- dried apricots added to a handful of fruit & nut mix before the workout. 2 more planned for breakfast after my run and an afternoon snack at work.
Have a great day!!

Just finished Day 2's video - it is so good to get exercising done first thing in the morning! Getting ready to do some upper body exercises and some core work, and then study God's Word - exercising physically and spiritually on this, the first day of the first week of 2010!

Make it a great Monday, all!

Oww, my knees! They prevent me from doing squats and lunges properly. After I attempted the video, I did thigh strengthening exercises that my therapist had given me.

I think my friends are starting to think that I am obsessed with SparkPeople, lol, because I can't stop talking about it! But it is because I am super-excited and haven't been this motivated in years! For the first time since I've had my kids, I really believe I can lose this weight!

Okay, so today (Sunday) was day three doing this video...and I took it up a level! emoticon

The last two days I just did the minimal side to side walking and front to back walking.

Today, I did the next level, the steppity hop thingy (real technical, I know), when that part came up...then I rotated between that and the side to side for the first half, and I rotated between front to back and fast steppity hopping for the second half...and I DID IT!! Yay me! I love feeling the improvement from the previous two days.

If you do this a few times, I encourage you to throw in the second interval once in awhile and see if you've worked your way up to it yet...if not, just take it back down!

Congratulations, everyone, on completing day one! The first day is always the hardest, I think.

I had fun at this workout and it really did get my heart pumping. The stretching afterwards was a little painful... hmmm. maybe more stretching.

Completed the video plus my 45 minutes of elliptical. Love this challenge! Did a brief update to my blog and spark page. More to come :)

I am definitely not as fit as I once was... but that's okay, I can get there again! :)
I don't think I burned the number of calories it is telling me that I did, haha.

I'm a girl and by me, that's only great.

I am proud that my silhouette is curvy;

that I walk with a sweet and girlish gait,

with my hips kinda swively and swirly.
