Same here. I keep meaning to buy one of those grinding bowls she mentions, but I haven't yet. I see you can buy Gomashio in the stores though. I saw it at whole foods in the asian food aisle by the sea vegetables.

Has anyone tried making this? I'm going to be buying a suribachi (a grooved japanese mortar and pestle) this week. I cn't wiat to try it. It's just sesame seeds and salt. Check out page 232 of the Kind Diet for more info.

The Real Food Daily cookbook that Alici recommends (and so do I) also talks about and has the same recipe in their book.
