It would be great if this would happen all over the United States. There is still so much stigma around HIV/AIDS.

I do also. I know if my husband ever needs a transplant in his life that I will gladly step up and donate.

I know that WA state allows organ transplants between people who are HIV+. It took a while for that legislation to be approved - hope it spreads to ALL the states!!!

I think this is great! Someone needed a kidney and this woman was able to save their life. I hope more organ donation will be available for HIV patients now. This is definitely a step in the right direction.
