I live in Australia and I buy Korres and Dodoni and go to a Greek Deli and buy everything I can that is made in Greece. I think diaspora people are more diligent as we celebrate being Greek every day because we have a nostalgia for our homeland. Those living in Greece have to accept responsibility as a whole and have to start by changing the mentality. I am doing my bit. Thank you for listening to my view.

I know this is not the site for such topics, but Greece is going through some really tough times. A stable, thriving country is on the brinks of collapse.

So I am asking those of us who love Greece and live outside of Greece, to consider buying greek products, when possible, as a way to boost the economy. Here is a site with some products.
http://www.helpsavegreece.com/

Over this past year, I have tried to buy greek products for gifts- korres cosmetics (natural and very nice quality), greek wines and EVOOs.
