Travel Fan, on Socrates... I like to refer to him as a bar-stool philosopher. This isn't a bad thing.. If you read many of the descriptions of the Socratic dialogues, everything is discussed while drinking wine... Maybe that's why I get smarter in Greece, I have all my best conversations over lunch with a bottle of ouzo between friends.
