I would go have it x-rayed. You could have torn something. I had a total knee replacement, so when my starts to bother me I sit in a chair and lift my leg out straight and hold. I don't know if you should be doing that when you don't know what it is. I hope you feel better soon. Knee pain and back pain are not any fun.

I learned to brace my abs in yoga and I use it when I walk. Helps a lot!

get your knee checked. it could be nothing... it could be something torn.

But better to find out than possibly injure it more

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much A true friend reaches for your hand but touches your hea

I had that problem and my doctor adjusted the dosage of my cholesterol medication and the pain went away. I would definitely speak with your doctor. Sometimes joint pain is a side effect of medicine.

You might want to check with your doctor as to way this is hurting. They might have you go to PT to help.

Does anyone here experience knee pain? I can't go more than a mile without my knees hurting.

I fell a couple of times and they just won't get better. I also broke my fibula, but it has healed fi ne.
