Mine never was more then 4 or 5 days. well I did figure out how to make it go almost 2 weeks, but don't want to. Turn off the automatic sync. Make sure that after you look at the fitbit app you close it completely so it isn't running in the background. Don't check your steps on your one, basically you are walking blind. Only sync once a day. Someone told me about this and so I tried it once and it worked. Now I sync 2 times a day, but more because the phone and tablet batteries last so much longer if you turn the bluetooth off. I try not to check my one very often but do look at it several times a day. Sometimes I think DH has the right idea get a zip then you only have to worry about changing the battery every 5 or 6 months.

I was goi g to tell you to perhaps deletenthe app and re-install but seeing it is ok will refrain from telling you! My One only seems to stay charged for a few days, I am sure they said 14 days in the manual.

Mutt and I went for a very nice walk this morning. Stars were bright, little chilly but no wind. I could hear the coyotes howling about a kill off in the distance, but they weren't close. I got home and tried to sync. My one showed I walked 1.5 miles. Fitbit said it couldn't find my one. Tried every trick I knew to sync. Nothing. Tried help, pages of people listing all the kinds of tables, phones and computers they had used to sync their one. All the tricks to force sync the one. nothing worked. Guess i'm not alone. Oh well I have a backup flex for a reason. I'm wearing it now.

Hello! I am trying to get use to the Fitbit Zip. It doesn't track my walking workouts like Spat did. I don't know why not. Oh, well, I just keep putting in in separately.

Did a bit of walking while shopping with a friend today. My knees were bugging me, but i even did a few steps.

My hip pain is more like it might be a tendon or ligament or something that goes from my inner hip area to my groin. My leg kind of gives in. I get this when I overdo exercises.

I am going to have to look at what a fitbit one is.
I am seeing the Dr. to see if they can give me some advice to get over this pain.
Hoping it's not to involved.
I am walking a little and some days elliptical has not caused pain.
I have also been lifting more thouroughly and carefully doing a variety of stretches and some rolling with a foam roller.
I thought it was improving and I could just stay the course.
However it is worse today so I made an appointment.

I am not skilled to understand what GOD has willed what GOD has planned I only know at his right hand stands one who is my SAVIOR

I think I have found the reason my fitbit One didn't record my steps. I was wearing my 'fat' pants.. and I have to heave them up above my waist! This morning I put the fitbit One in my sock and it counted my steps!

My fitbit One is a clip not for the wrist. It also said battery is good for 14 days! It recorded my treadmil a couple of days. Will try again tomorrow! Thanks for your help.

Fitbit wont record on a treadmill if you are holding on. It registers from your wrist motion.
Battery will need to be charged about every 5-6 days. Takes an hour or so.
Hope that helps.
I am getting by with my pains. It seems to be getting better with the stretches I am doing.
Hope I am not being a fool for not seeing the doctor.
We shall see. I am giving it a few more days.

Help! My fitbit one was working well but today it has stopped recording my steps on the treadmill. I was on there for 30 mins and 40 mins and it will not register my steps. It will register if I walk around the room though. I had it positioned on my waistband for the 30 mins and on my shoe for the 40 mins. Nada! It still records my flights! It have had this for only a few days and I was told my battery needed charging.

In early December, I woke up with extreme pain and a big knot on the outer side of my right thigh. I couldn't even stand up. I walked like Quasimodo. We never did find what caused that. It took over 3 months to heal and still gives me pain sometimes especially in cold damp rainy weather. I was put on 9 days of predinsone and give 2 anti inflammatory injections. The only other course was to let it heal naturally. Still don't know what it was or what caused it. We don't think it was sciatica because it was on the outside of the thigh. I did massage the area several times a day with the heel of my hand. Not sure if this will help you or not.

I am of the opinion that I have piriformis syndrome. It's an irritation of a muscle that in turn irritates the sciatic nerve. It's slowing me down. If you have any advice please share.

Used my Fitbit for the stationary bike interval setting. Loved it. I will try to do this for a while each day. Even a short time is cardio.

lost most of my gumption today..........barely got in 3000 steps.......did do some surveys on the computer and did my grandson's income taxes plus 2 loads of laundry......walked outside for about 15 minutes in the 15 to 25 MPH winds..

I guess I don't pay much attention to the sleep function on my fitbit.
I just try to get my steps. I was unhappy as it didn't log my time on the elliptical today.
Oh well It's early enough I am sure to get enough steps today. I am at 7500 at 6:30.
Should be all good.

HI! Just a quick stop in before the weekend. Hope everyone is doing good. I'm heading to Hershey, PA this weekend (about a 2 hour trip). We may go to Chocolate World but not sure what else we are going to do. My step daughter is in Milton Hershey School and it is Parents Weekend. We usually just veg around the hotel room - which is good with me too!

I haven't been on my scale for few days, so I don't know if it's working. I know sometimes it takes for ever for it to sync. Other times it's really fast.

hello just wondering if any one have the Aria Scale from FitBit and if it stopped syncing last week ? I looks like from the community page alot of folks having this problem and it having to do with the band B they are using to your router instead on g/n still trying to get mine fixed

Trying to eat healthy exercise daily, slow down my pace in life think positive and all in all get in Better Shape and Keep Heart healthy and enjoy the life God has given me.

A funny thing happened yesterday. My fitbit said 10 on the stairs screen. I had only gone up stairs maybe twice. After reading how the feature works, I had to laugh. I had a chiropractor appointment and the adjustment table has auto up & down functions. Note to self : remove fitbit before getting back adjusted! emoticon

I find I have to set aside a chunk of time just to walk, sometimes even 2x a day to get 10,000 steps. I can't manage long walks at this point so it's short and snappy.
I also have to remind myself to get up and move a bit from time to time, not just settle in and read or knit for a couple of hours.

I am not skilled to understand what GOD has willed what GOD has planned I only know at his right hand stands one who is my SAVIOR
