Since January, 2013, having something to hold, and not lose, the Fitbit One has been a challenge, and a PAIN.

How many times have I managed to re-locate my One before it was too late??

I would like the new bracelet, but I already invested in this!

I had the same problem discussed here with the Fitbit One belt clip. The hard piece on the end of the clip fell off. I also had very quick customer service and had a replacement in only a few days. The experience made me quite happy to be their customer.

Yeah, mine fell off and I lost it, so like others have said already, I just took a picture of it and send an email to customer service and they sent me a new one. So far, the new one has been fine.

Received my new clip yesterday. It came in a huge box for such a little thing. Still glad to have gotten a new one. The design looks the same so I hope the end doesn't fall off again any time soon. They were quick to get it shipped out. Nice service experience.

I hope this doesn't happen to mine, but it sounds like their customer service is good about fixing things.

Now, what's this about a lanyard?!! Details please!

Received an email from customer service today saying they are sending me a replacement holder for my fitbit one and I should expect it to arrive within 5-7 days. Super quick response I think since I contacted them about the problem with the clip end falling off over the weekend. Hope it works out just as well for everyone else who has been having the same problem. It was totally worth it to contact support.

Mine stays clipped pretty well as long as it is on thicker fabric.

I wrote into support yesterday and they emailed me back within a couple of hours. This was their reply:

Hello Vicky,

We're sorry to hear about your damaged Belt Clip.

We'll be happy to provide a complimentary replacement to get you back on track. Please reply to this email with the following information:
- Copy of your purchase receipt o a photo of the accessory showing the damage alongside a post-it note with this case number: XXXXXX
- Your preferred shipping address.
- Your phone number
- Preferred accessory color. Black or Burgundy?

Once we receive your response, we'll be able to continue with the replacement process. We're looking forward to getting you back on track and we will be waiting for your response.

Sincerely,
Juan R and the Fitbit Team

Just took a photo of my clip and the little piece that keeps falling off placed on a sheet of paper with the required information written on it. We'll see how it goes :) So far seems like they are pretty responsive. Will let you all know how it goes from here. Seems like a lot of us have had the same issue. Guess they'll be sending out a lot of replacements.

I keep my fitbit one in the soft clip sleeve, and still in my pocket. The clip helps me feel the fitbit easier, and be able to keep track of it, less likely to lose it.

I had the clip attched to my belt and it always was falling off. So I keep it in my pocket. Most particularly in the little key pocket on the right side of my jeans.

Wow, I emailed them (actually submitted a claim through the website) and they got back to me within a couple of hours. Sent them the necessary information and they replied with order numbers for the replacement clips (both mine and dh's were doing the same thing). We'll see how the rest of it goes, but I have never had Customer Service be so quick with a reply with any other company- and on a Saturday, too!

So glad to hear this is happening to others. Mine also keeps coming off. Going to email support and see if they will replace mine as well. Must be something defective in the design.

Write to support anyway. I'm sure it's a problem they have to know about with this many people responding. Even though you ordered a new one if they send you a replacement you'll have a spare :)

thanks for posting this. I had the same thing happen to mine, and did eventually lose the little piece off the bottom. I switched holders with Dh because he carries his in his pocket, so he wasn't using his, but it is now doing the same thing (haven't lost the 2nd one yet)

I was planning to email, but hadn't done it yet. Going to go ahead and do that today.

Vicky,
The same thing was happening to me. Then I did lose it before it dawned on me that I was hooking it on the far side of my pocket instead of in front, so my hip/leg was inching it up as I walked!

The company has created a replacement clip holder that looks quite similar but is designed better, which they will send you - no problem! Meanwhile, either wear it on your bra or inside a pocket or on the front of your waste band. When I put on a dress I attached it to my underpants and that worked very well, too.)

The same thing happened to me and I emailed them and they replaced it for free. I just had to send them a picture of the clip showing where the end had fallen off.

If it is under a year old the company replaces the cover and sometimes even the unit. part of their warranty. people have washed their units, lost their units with falling off the clip and the company has replaced. most likely you will not hear anything until Monday unless someone is manning their customer service desk this weekend

I just sent them an email. I'd be fine with repairing it if I knew what type of adhesive would actually hold it on there. It's plastic, rubber and metal though... not an expert in glue :) I don't want to make a bigger mess of it and have it still not hold. I'm still wearing it but it pokes now and then. I guess if I have to I'll order a new holder or get one on ebay but I thought I'd post here and write to support first. I cannot be the only person to have had this issue. I thought maybe someone knew how to fix it. :)

Thanks so much for always popping up to answer my newbie questions. I appreciate that.

I would contact the customer service dept and ask them to send you a replacement since that keeps happening.

I saw a post about this on the Fitbit friends group on Facebook.. dn't really remember what they said.. I'll look but may not be able to find it. I think myabe FB sent them a new holder??? I'd try wring support@fitbit.com
and let us know if you do.. I have a One and hope that doesn't happen! I think you can buy new holders too, but they should send you a new one if it's under a year old.

I have the fitbit one. I use the little holder that clips onto my clothing. On the back side at the bottom of the clip on part the little end keeps popping off exposing the metal clip. I've stopped putting it back on because I'm sure I'll lose it. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? I'd like a way to stick it back on that will make it stay. Thanks :)
