Will you post a pic of the tether you made? I'd love to see your ingenuity! I've looked at a few tethers but I haven't seen any I like.

I don't want a flex because I make many bracelets that I wear. Lost my fitbit one last weak out geocaching - in and out of vehicle many times, bushwhacking, readusting garments, miles driven and miles hiked. Found it missing at the end of the day at home. I ordered a new one but just made a tether for it. I used an O ring, split ring, and spring clip/D clip. I clipped it around my bra strap. I didn't want any type of clip that might pull off as my last fitbit did.

Cool! That's good to know! I've wondered how well it would do if just dropped into a pocket.

My fitbit zip was in my trouser pocket but it still recorded 3425 steps. I thought I left it at home. What a pleasant surprise! Jim

Interesting about the Zip coming out of the holder. Mine just seems so tight in its holder. I haven't been wearing mine facing in, but it never budges. And I can't tell I have it on at all, comfort-wise or from the outside of my shirts.

I have found this to be the best solution to fully secure the loose clasp for the Fitbit Charge and Fitbit Force. I hope it helps people. Fitbit really has never addressed the problem but this solution works.

I too wear mine on my bra facing in. It's the safest place I can find for it - I'm a small animal vet and so there is a very real possibility of random paws, etc, knocking it off of a pocket or wristband. But with all the extra padding it gets nestled in my bra, it's safe and sound!

I clip mine to my bra but I wear it facing in! I had my first one for just 5 days and was wearing it on my bra and it slipped out of the fitbit clip while I was gardening. Didn't know it was missing until that night when I went to sync. The clip was still there but no fitbit. I contacted Fitbit and they were awesome about replacing it believe it or not but they suggested that it be worn facing your body so it gets caught if falls out of the clip - I'm guessing it has happened before.

Mine is kept either in my shirt or pants pocket. At bed time, I clip it to the neckline of my shirt.

I got a holder that is made for USB Flash Drives, Fitbit slips in perfectly.. It can loop on my belt loop or hang around my neck with a lanyard.

I don't use a special clip. I think because I wear jeans all the time, with the smaller pocket within the regular pocket. I've never had an issue with my FitBit coming loose.

@ __AMY__:

Here is an eBay link for the lanyard I am currently using. I wrap one end twice around the holder for the One and the other end is clipped to my belt or waistband of my workout shorts.

what kind of lanyard? How do you secure it to the fitbit?

I'm also looking for the best way to secure my fitbit - had to order fitbit #2 last week since I lost the first one last summer. I'm pretty sure it fell off while attached to my bra strap. I've tried the middle of my bra, but you can see it through my shirt and looks funny.

I have my tracker clipped onto my gowearfit armband. (yes I wear both @ the same time just to see which I like better & the fitbit is the hands-down winner)

I clip mine on the center of my bra... I don't even notice it... Works great there for me!

I secure mine with a safety lanyard (with a clip) to my belt strap. This has worked for me.

I clip mine on the center of my bra. That's one place that doesn't really move throughout the day and I don't even know it's there. I put it on in the morning and forget about it until I get ready for bed. Once in a while, I'll check it just to see what my activity level is but, for the most part, it goes undisturbed for the day.

I lost mine awhile back after only having it for a short time. My 3yo just found it in the toys. So I'm starting again. I don't want to lose it again. Do you do anything to secure it? I wear it in my pocket when I have one. But most of my summer shorts don't.
