Lately, I've been focusing more on just getting in a 60 minute workout and haven't really been using my Heart Rate Monitor. I'm not sure if you know, but my routines are mainly with Turbo Fire and Charlene really makes you work for the entire workout. 2 weeks ago, I was totally unable to complete an entire DVD without stopping. I pretty much did intervals with the DVD for 10 mintues and then walked for 10 mintues. That was the only way I could get through the entire DVD. By the end of last week, I could see a change already and was able to make it through 2 of her DVD's without stopping, but for a water break. I feel GREAT!

8/22: 31 min (Wii Golds Gym) = 181 calories
8/23: 0 took today off
8/24: 32 min (Wii Golds Gym) = 200 calories
8/25: 0
8/26: 0
8/27: 32 min (Wii Fit Plus & Wii Golds Gym) = 183 calories
Total days worked out: 4
Total Calories burnt: 755

Not to bad for starting over again. 4 days out of 6 is better than what I was doing. Next week will be better for sure.

Michelle, WTG on starting back up your exercise even while pregnant. You are certainly better than me when I was prenant. I used to go to work and come home and plop on the couch because I was too tired to do anything.

This morning I completed 40 minutes of Turbo Fire and Walk with a total burn of 335. I had to cut it short because I have to be at work for 9am.

Let's get moving!

I have gained way to much so far this month. I know I'm going to gain but I was hoping for 1-2# not 4# so I am tracking my workouts again so I don't slack and skip. I don't have a set cal to burn I just need to keep moving. Aiming for atleast 100 cal a day.

I am totally with you because I have been taking it too easy since last month. I pledge starting on Monday, I will do 2 workouts Mon - Fri. An hour in the morning and then another hour in the evening. I was waiting to get my eating in control again, so now is the time.

I pledge to push my workouts to the limit of no return,
continue to workout 4 days a week 1 1/2 to 2 hours a day, strength train 30 minutes 2 days a week, and @ end of week burned a total of 2400 calories.

8/1/2011: 60 minute highway walk - 514 calories
8/2/2011: 30 minutes of cycling- 244 calories
30 minutes on Elliptical- 291 calories
30 minutes on treadmill- 360 calories
30 minutes of strength training: don't know how to calculate calories burned for this
Total caloris burned as of this time: 1409 calories

We are totally going to make this easy! All we have to do is keep track of how many calories we burn each week. The key is to get in cardio and strength training throughout the week and challenge our bodies. We are all at different levels and that is all right.
