My morning has been okay so far. I woke up really congested in my chest and feeling super phlegmy but not sick. Just feel like my flu has now turned into a chest cold. I still went for my training session and really enjoyed it. She took it easy on me but it was a fantastic workout and I went for a slow 3 mile run afterwards. I got free passes to a zumba class for Friday night and my husband has agreed to go with me. We are going to use it as date night. Go to Zumba class, then use the sauna and jacuzzi and come back home and have salads. Very excited. I have some new salad dressing recipes if you are interested.

Okay off to finish grading and prep my lectures for this week. We have put in an application for a house rental. Keep your fingers crossed and say an extra prayer for us please. Our credit reports were less than par and since we haven't lived in the states for over three years, we require a co-signer. My husband's dad gladly offered so we are waiting to hear back from the owners. This place would be ideal because I can actually walk to work so we would save a ton of money on gas!

currently I'm teaching. I'm a chiropractor and acupuncturist. We can't get visas to practice in Canada (where we are currently living) so we are teaching. Our teaching contract finally ends in December and we will be heading back to California where will be practicing as chiropractor. With the California regulations, we have to take some more classes and complete additional clinic hours to be licensed for acupuncture in California so I will only be practicing chiro for a while.

It sounds like your morning has been very eventful. My day was busy as expected. Now I have to do two hours of my online job and then start grading.

My morning was busy. We had to run around to grocery store and Wal-Mart for DH mom and SIL. SIL need a few things at Wal-Mart then we visited her in hosptial. She wanted a new pillow for her son. He stays everynight with her. I volunteereded but he wants to stay ad he has been taking care of her at home.

Couldn't sleep last night. Wound up coughing and sneezing and couldn't sleep. SOOOOO what did I do? Go in the fridge and binge on garlic bread - I FAIL!

Will try again today.

I am allergic to all nuts - peanuts, walnuts, pistacchios, almonds you name it. IT is a bad allergy. I have an epi pin. Totally blows because as you said there is so much that may contain nuts and also so many dieting recipes that contain nuts..

I'd like to make it 8:30, but I sometimes forget. And then there are the days that I binge. Hate that phase. At least I don't purge. DH buys snacks, sometimes tries to hide them, but not always....like the Halloween cancy is still out on the stand.
I have a food intolerance to peanmuts, lbut can eat a small portion. I really want to stay away from them but do you know how many things are made on machinery that process peanuts or things that MAY contain tree nuts? Geesh!

sorry to hear about your SIL. Cancer sucks no way about it. I feel blessed everyday but there is not a day that passes that I don't worry that I will have it again. I may have survived but my body is far from recuperating. My immune system is in the sh-tter. I get sick quite often. i hate it but at least I'm still hear. I will keep your SIL in my prayers.

I like your idea about cut off time. We have dinner between 6:30 and 7:30. So I am putting my cut off at 9 pm. By I'm hoping to make it so that we can have dinner by 6:00 on a consistent basis and then I can move down my cut off time to 7:30. What is your cut off time?

My SIL is fighting bone cancer now. She had breast cancer a few years ago. Terrible desease. I'm glad you are in remission.

We should have a cut off when to have our last snack for the day.

40 pounds is my goal. I am finally off my medication and hopefully will be injury free. I am in remission from ovarian cancer and have injured myself a bunch of times in the past 3 years. My weight has been a total roller coaster. But I am taking it day by day. I find that when I am active on spark people, i shed the weight and maintain and when I'm not active I pack on the pounds - coincidence - I THINK NOT.

You can totally shed the weight. Brushing your teeth helps. I do that too so I won't eat. Want to motivate each other?

My goal weight is 100 or 98. I"m 104.6 now. I stay up to watch the late night talk shows, but want to brush, floss and wear my mouth guard, so I won't eat any more.

That's good 1.5 lbs in 1.5 weeks. What is your goal?

yeah I have a problem with late night snacking. I am trying to go to sleep earlier so I can avoid the late night snacking.

I was doing really well with working out at least 30 minutes a day and lost 1.5 pounds in two weeks. This past week I was sick, so hopefully I can get back into the swing of things.

Keeping my fingers crossed. What is your overall goal?

I've been trying to get cardio and ST in everyday and a salad a day. I get into snacking so I do have a problem with temptation

I lost about 4 pounds, took me 8-weeks to do it. I have a hard time to keep motivated to do my exercises. We've been really busy lately.

I had been doing really well with my workouts for the previous two weeks but that went down the drain. My week was a disaster between hurricane Sandy hitting NYC and me stressing about my family and then I got the flu and was useless for the rest of the week. It was the worst - I actually slept in the bathroom on Tuesday and Wednesday night. As you can guess no workouts for me. The silver lining in this is that I haven't eaten much all weeks so I should be down a couple of pounds. We shall have to wait and see what my weigh in is on Monday.
