My feeling is that if PTC hadn't raised such a fuss, the photos would have been forgotten in just a few days.

Thank you, Lary Irish, for accepting all viewpoints.

And you're right, young children should not be reading GQ. But I don't read GQ, and I saw the cover---in a TV Guide. Young children may well pick up a TV Guide. That's the problem.

I think there redition of "like a virgin" was more sexier then this. They have clothes on, and are covered, what more can you ask for?

Besides its for GQ. If it was for Good Housekeeping.. then yes, it would have been wrong.

If the goal was to get more people talking about Glee- then I think it was success.

However, I wish, since Glee has been such a ground breaker in other areas, that they had not used such tawdry tactics to get it.

Seriously, hasn't the (slightly icky and possibly misogynist) photo theme of caucasian women as little girls posing with fully clothed caucasian men been covered by more that a million different photo shoots in a million different magazines? Mix it up already. Show the diversity of the cast. Show the wit and intelligence of the show for crying out loud.

I just don't think that Glee was well served by the genius who thought this photo shoot was something new and "edgy"

Every point of view is welcome here, so never apologize for just stating your opinion.

I see what you're saying, but if young kids are reading GQ, I suspect their parents aren't exercising adequate supervision.

I must confess...when I saw the cover with Cory's hands on the butts of Lea and Dianna, I was shocked. I didn't care much for the skimpy costumes, either. I understand that the actors are all adults and over 21 and can do what they want...but the reason they're 'famous' is because they portray high school kids. It's not like I'm looking at Cory Monteith and Lea Michele...I'm seeing Finn and Rachel for heaven's sake, and it's inappropriate.

There are a lot of young Glee fans--and this is over the top. Sorry. No, I'm not sorry.

Honesly, the girls showed far less skin that you'd see on any beach any day.

To be honest, I would have liked to have seen Cory without his shirt on!

Really, these actors and actresses aren't kids, and what they're wearing in those pictures aren't worse than some of the costumes they wear on the screen. And, seriously, if the PTC had a bone to pick with this show, why didn't they just bring up the Madonna episode? I love the way it was done, as an adult, but as a parent I wouldn't let my son watch it until we're ready to talk about sex and its consequences!

Ahem. In any case. I think the PTC is going a little overboard in this scenario.

I honestly think that people need to get a grip. They are grown men and women, yes they play teenagers on tv but they are all in their twenties. If parents have a problem with this show and the publicity coming from it they should just ban it from their households. My parents kept a running list of what I could and could not watch. It is not all that complicated.

I think Lea Michele looks great along with Quinn and Finn.

They're naughty, but at least they're wearing clothes. The "True Blood" naked/bloody cover upped the ante, so I was expecting more, considering all the hubub.

I would have preferred, though, a photoshoot with all of the 'kids', as opposed to just three of them. That would have made me happy.

Some of the Glee cast posed for some slightly naughty pictures for GQ. There's controversy among some people over it. What do you think?
