I LOVED LOVED LOVED this weeks episode! Idina Menzel is a goddess and I'm glad they finally had her sing as her talent astounds me. I still struggle to understand how they could cast her in Enchanted (a movie musical) and not have her sing. When I watched the first episode of Glee I remember thinking "wow the girl playing Rachel looks exactly like Idina" (I'm a long time fan of hers). And as others have pointed out Neil Patrick Harris was great as he always is and he is just born to entertain.

I so agree with you! I just watched in amazement Artie's dance at the mall. THe en ergy that the crowd at the mall responeded with made it all the better. I do like the character so much! I can identify with the problems. After every episode of watching this show I feel I can over come what we're all here for (isn't working out so well but better than before).

Can anyone name anything Neil Patrick Harris CAN'T do? And as for Kevin McHale, there were a lot of people who complained that an able-bodied actor was cast as Artie. I just always figured there'd be a dream sequence where he'd dance.

FANTASTIC EPISODE! Artie (Kevin McHale) can DANCE! That was soooo awesome. Neil Patrick Harris rocked it - I am just at a loss for words. This was a great show - incredible.

I had a terrible day at work on Monday. Tuesday was better, but still not a great day. When I watched Glee on Tuesday night my spirit totally lifted!

I watched Dream On and Saftey Dance twice.

Thanks for making a bad day better Glee!

I LOVE Neil Patrick Harris. I think he is a great actor. I agree...I totally love the duet. It was very well done!

I LOVE Joss Whedon. I could very much tell that he directed it. The debate with Sue Sylvestor totally screamed Joss Whedon's style to me. Very insightful, but with a dash of comedy underlying.

I loved that the coach of Vocal Adrenaline is Rachel's mom. Such a fantastic twist! And the resemblance is uncanny! I loved their duet of "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miz. It was very powerful. I'm excited to see where they take this twist.

Such a well done episode! It almost makes me wish that Joss could direct more episodes! And I wouldn't complain if Neil Patrick Harris was in more either...but I love both of their work, so I'm not surprised that I would want that!

Next week, Lady Gaga! I can't believe how excited I get for the new episodes!

Casting Idina Mentzel as Rachel's mom was a stroke of genius! Did you see the resemblance? They could be related in real life. I'm enjoying an I-told-you-so moment. The producers said she was being cast as Vocal Adrenaline's leader but not Rachel's Mom. I said why couldn't she be both? I love when they listen to me like that!

Neil Patrick Harris -- what can I say? Brilliant as always. That duet with Will was just amazing. But his argument with Sue about arts vs. athletic education was great. I hope people were listening, and realize the importance of both to kids.

They managed to hit my two deepest buttons this week. For those of you who don't already know, my son is disabled (though his disability is much worse than Artie's). The story line around him wanting to dance left me sobbing, as did the mother-daughter story (my little girl grew her wings at the age of one month). Beautifully done in both cases.

I don't know how they do it, but this show just gets better and better every week.
