That is a great idea. yeah to have him look at my mom and me and say to each of us "I just cant do it anymore" we just told him it was ok.

emoticon I'm glad ur Father is no longer in pain. Men so often don't let on just how awful they feel.

It is hard to lose someone who has been sick for a long time, but at least, we get a chance to say what we feel. Maybe on Sunday, go to a Retirement Home and visit with some elderly man who has no family, who will be grateful to have u visit & talk about your Dad.

I miss my dad so much. He passed three weeks ago and I always seem to think of him most on Wednesday the day he passed and Sunday the day we buried him. I feel bad for my brother. He works at the same place and recently had to go through his tool box as the rest of the guys my dad worked with looked on in sadness. I cannot even imagine. My mom is looking for a house to move to town. she wants to live in town but I also think she just wants out of the house they shared together and I do not blame her. When I walk in there I expect to see him sitting in his chair dosing off like he did. I know it will get easier. He was in so much pain he did not get to do much these last couple of years. He did not feel like attending my son's games so I know now he will look down and watch him from heaven and cheer him on!
