Not sure what you have been wearing before...and I am no gearhead. I would just suggest looking at the wristguards with the most protection.

Look for substantive hard plastic shells for both sides of your wrists.

What I have heard, is that if you fall in a certain way, wristguards won't stop your wrist from breaking--but they do provide the best protection from really bad breaks.

Ugh!

Please can anyone recommend some REALLY good wrist guards?

Since I've broken my wrist skating and don't want to do it again once I'm better :o(
