I'm very surprised how well I'm doing in such a short time. I'm able to plan around my life and with the food I already have in the house. All diets say they are a lifestyle change, but many of them expect so much change so quickly that it is hard to fit into the life of real people. I've lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks. I am now at my lowest weight in 8 years! I finally broke 234 which seems to be where I get stuck when I try to lose weight. It almost feels like playing a game with numbers :)

This is the end of week 1, and I can't believe I did it. I have dieted in the past but never exercised at all. At first my toes hurt, then my feet hurt, but now they are just fine, no pain. I started with a 10 minute walk each day adding a little more length to my walk. I am now up to a 30 minute walk and loving it. I even went up a hill! I love the fresh air. Wow, I thought I hated to exercise. I work the next 3 days, if my hooves aren't killing me by the end of the day, I'll walk after supper.
I track my foods as best I can. I am making better choices. Here I come week 2.
