Hi My name is Sandy. I been here for awhile now.I figure I tell you a little bit about me.Well I use to be chunky when I was young. Then my mother got me help and I lost the weight and kept it off.I got pregnant at the age of 24 and I gained over 80 pounds.See I went from being 130 wearing a size 11/12 to being over 214 and a size 20.I'm now 42 years old and I been trying to lose the weight ever since. It has been a hard let me tell you.I been on every diet and I would lose the weight for awhile then I gain it right back. For awhile I gave up.I told myself that this is how I was going to look so I better get use to it.Then one day I started watching the biggest loser show.My husband said honey if they can do it then you can to.So I said how honey it not easy I been trying. He said listen to what they are saying just watch what you eat and to exercise.Honey I know you can do to.So I been doing just so.I am exercising more and i am watching my portions and drinking lots of water.Since apirl I have lost a total of 34 pounds.I use to be 250 and now I am 216.I know I till have a long road ahead. My husband told me the other day that he never been so proud of me.So my advice to all is you can do it just dont give up keep trying.Even if you only lose a pound a week you doing it.....

Hello Ashley. Great to see you here !

I can relate to what you are saying about being "chunky" and yo-yo dieting. I hope you can learn to get control of this and not wait until you are my age, 55, to learn.

We post on our daily chit chat thread, and also on our question of the day thread. Would love to see you over there.

take care, and good luck with your healthy weight loss journey !
