Thanks guys. I just posted another thread not remembering that I started this one :o I have had a few false starts, and this time it is a real start (over again) and I feel good about it. As my dance performance approaches, I realize that I may not be at a goal weight by then, but I am capable of getting down another 8 lbs at least (that is in 3 weeks) I know it is possible.

Thanks for the support, and just ignore the other thread :o

Don't be so hard on yourself. Just start over again. There is nothing you can do about yesterday.

Do you have someone you can workout with and/or share a healthy eating plan with? This can help you to stay on track more consistently because they will be there to keep you in line when you just aren't feeling it. Realistically, it will be hard to do too much until Christmas is over but start planting the seed now and getting motivated so come December 28th you are GTG.

Just do it! get on there...honesty is harsh sometimes but necessary. Good luck! BTW you can do it!

Happiness is not a matter of good fortune or worldly possessions. It's a mental attitude. It comes from appreciating what we have, instead of being miserable about what we don't have. It's so simple - yet so hard for the human mind to comprehend.

I was so motivated at first, and lost 8 pounds in under 3 weeks. Now I have a peformance (dance) coming up in January, and really need to get back on track.

I have decided that I am going to weigh in today, and start over. I am afraid to step on the scale, but will do it. ugh :( I don't know if anyone can say anything to make it better for me.

I don't want to, but off I go now to weigh in. Any words of encouragement welcomed.
