Alcohol definitely is a toughie. I think the worst part for me is that after partying Saturday night it is so hard to get back into eating right, almost impossible to work out, and even without any goals, alcohol can blow my mood for the next 24 hours.

I'm aiming for a 3 drink max this upcoming weekend, if you have any better ideas though, I am so all ears.

I also started on the 6th. However, I just found this team. Its going to be nice to see how others that started the same time as I did are doing. My first week was good -4.8 emoticon ! Even though I tracked good and bad thing I eat, the second week I gained 4. I couldn't believe it. This put me into overdrive on cardio for the day and the next morning I was down 2. Come on seriously!

I started thinking about what was really happening and then it came to me! My weigh in day is Tuesday am. On the Saturday before the dreaded gain my friend and I had some wine. I should clarify...not some glasses but some bottles. I didn't even think about what that would do on the scales not to mention my head the next morning!

To try and combat the gain I added an extra 30 mins to my cardio. If that doesn't cure drinking, I don't know what would! I have a plan for next time I get together with my girlfriend. I will take a printout of this weeks cardio and a jug of water. Every time I am tempted with a glass I will have to make a choice of how much pain I plan on going through the next week! After two days of 60 mins hard cardio, I don't think I am going to every have anymore wine....Ok, I wont go that far!
