Thank you for the advice. I have been finding that drinking the water has been helping and if I am still hungry i try my best to convince myself I really don't need any more food, especially if I have fulfilled all my goal numbers for the day.

The hunger thing has been getting better. I've been trying to eat slower and remind myself after a meal that I ate enough, but my body just hasn't started digesting yet. as far as high fiber foods, just about any fruits and veggies have a good amount of fiber, wheat products, anything with whole grains, and i love most products from Fiber One. The granola bars are a great snack

I too find myself 'still hungry' after meals. I drink all my water in a day, in fact, way over. Usually between 12 and 16 cups. I do find that helps, but not enough. As far as high fiber foods, either I don't have them in the house, or don't really know what it is to buy that I'd like that is 'high fiber'. I do eat apples about daily though. Sorry But I can't be of any help to ya.

I'd rather waste it than waist it!

PINKJEN - Most of the problem is probably a mind over matter issue! Changing the way we think is tough which is why we "think" we are still hungry! It happens to all of us, you aren't alone and soon you'll be able to distinguish the difference between stomach hunger and mind hunger!

Drink a full glass of water before you eat... then drink a full glass of water after you eat! Begin a journal and write down what it is you want, what you are doing, how you are feeling etc, etc... you'll be surprised that there is a pattern and will be able to address it that way! Good luck!!!

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

Thanks for responding. I am finding it a little difficult to keep it all balanced, most days I am over a little on fat and under on either protein or carbs, so at that point it's tricky, either i eat a little more to get the protein or carbs and risk going more over in fat or I don't eat any more and am under in one of those categories and most likely still hungry. I do eat a high fiber diet and been drinking much more water and it seems to help a little.

It does take time to adjust. Most of us go beyond just satisfying hunger. We go to that point where we need to undo the top button of our jeans. It does take 20 mins for bodies to register that we have eaten.

I also agree with checking your fluid and fiber intake. I would also add check your protein and fat in that meal. At the end of the day are your getting enough of these? Fat is necessary to absorb vitamins and minerals. It also helps with hormones. You shouldn't eliminate it entirely. Protein is necessary for muscle growth and repair. You know the rest fiber etc antioxidants. Water for hydration. All of these when taken in the right amounts will help you feel full. Check your charts at the end of the day provided after you click the button "Done Eating for the Day". Make your adjustments according to that.

Hang in there! You are doing great!

Happiness is not a matter of good fortune or worldly possessions. It's a mental attitude. It comes from appreciating what we have, instead of being miserable about what we don't have. It's so simple - yet so hard for the human mind to comprehend.

Are you eating foods high in fiber? 100% whole grains, veggies, fruits, etc. Also drink lots of water while you eat.

I have been doing pretty good at keeping within my calorie goals every day and am making an effort to have balanced meals, but I find that after most meals i am still hungry. I resist the temptation to eat more, but it is really hard. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, am I doing the right thing by not eating more. I have heard that when you are hungry your body is telling you that it needs fuel, is this correct? emoticon
