I have been meaning to do Insanity again - the first round I was not keeping my diet in check so saw very little results in appearance. But hearing those kind of results definately inspires me to try again!

Just wanted to say hi to everyone. I am on day 10 of insanity and am determined to stick with it this time....I've tried to start it twice before and didn't get past the first few days.
I have extra motivation this time...gotta be in a bikini for a trip to Jamaica in April!!!

Congrats to everyone for all the awesome finishes!

I'm on Day 5 in Week 1 and I gained a pound but I'm not worried about my weight I'm looking to lose inches. All the encourgement is awesome can't wait to get to my 2nd month and see some RESULTS!

I started this program a year ago and quit in the 2nd week because it was so intense. I now have a different game plan and attitude. I know I can do it emoticon (that's my serious face lol)

DAVI1000 - there's a few threads on here that talk about that. You need to decide for yourself - because its based on how you feel - if you wanna start over at week 1, or pick back up on week 2. Sorry I can't be more help, but its all about how comfortable you feel with it right now! Glad you're feeling better!

RUNTOFINDME-dont give up, month one was the hardest for me so far. I took a before insanity picture, after month one picture, and after the recovery week picture. I didnt see much difference between the first two pictures and saw the biggest change in the picture, inches, and weight at the end of week 5 recovery week. Keep it up, you are and will do great i know it.

BLGOODNIGHT - congratulations on all your progress!! Definitely stick with it and you'll see MUCH more over the next few weeks! You're doing a great job!!!

RUNTOFINDME - don't be discouraged. You're in week 2 and its actually NORMAL for you to gain a few pounds when you start a new fitness routine, especially one as intense as Insanity. When you challenge your muscles and you're sore, your body will retain some fluids in order to help heal them - thus causing a slight jump in the scale for the first week or two of a new program (and expect it at the beginning of Month 2 as well)

Here's a SparkBlog written by Chalene Johnson (TurboJam, Chalean Extreme, etc) that describes this a little more:

_t
he_scale_goes_up_when_you_start_a_neR>w_workout_plan

Hope this helps you feel a little better. Just relax, trust the program, keep your nutrition in line and keep track of other changes that are occurring (measurements, fit test improvements, etc)

Have a great day everyone!

Great results, very well done BLgoodnight!

Runtofindme listen to melindas advice, don't give up. I read a lot of information about people not losing much weight on insanity. That's only a number. The body changes you will experience far outweigh the numbers on a scale. Keep going. You will be glad that you stick with it :)

BLGOODNIGHT - congratulations! I haven't measured myself yet... I will again in 10 days when I finish my 60 day set.

RUNTOFINDME - don't give up. When I started P90X 14 months ago, I only lost 7 pounds in the first 90 days, but I dropped several inches in my bust, waist, and hips! This may be the same for you... Your weight will vary for lots of reasons. Just finish the 60 days. You'll be glad you didn't give up on yourself.

Melinda

When i started i was in an xl size exercise pant, yesterday they felt a little baggy during my workout and i had to keep pulling them up. Today i bought a size large and they fit perfectly. I am so excited because i still have month two and cant wait to see what progress i will have by the end. So far i have lost 7 pounds, 6 inches off my waist, 2 inches of my hips, and 2 inches off my thighs. emoticon emoticon insanity is definitly worth it
