Yeah. I'm not really interested in Meso 1, and I never even did Meso 3. hee hee

I love Meso 2...will I do it again? Certainly. I'm thinking about trading of Meso 1. I am waiting patiently for Intensity (woooo weeeeee) and STS Full Body. Super excited!

Off topic but I hope that there are two routines of each major body part in STS Full Body and if so I'll trade off Meso 1 and parts of 3 for sure.

I figured out my weakness feeling -I'm getting sick. Blah - was running a fever yesterday evening. Explains my loss of energy and wimpiness these last couple days.

I feel really good today after Chest Shoulders & Biceps today. Just the "right amount" of soreness. lol
I can move freely but I can also feel that I worked yesterday. So, that's good.

Ha ha! You guys are funny. Thanks, but I can tell you I sure don't feel much like a machine when I'm wimping out or dying or shaking for that last rep on STS. Crazy hard, but of course that's why I love it. It is an awesome challenge.

Jamie - I think the legs are the absolute hardest on meso 1. They hurt my butt soooo bad I swear it hurts all week. I think it is the putting the weights all the way down on the floor that gets so deep into the move. Darn paper plates. Definitely the hardest -- scratch that, they actually aren't so Hard to do, but they definitely come with the worst DOMS of any leg workout's I've done.

STS is tough...I had forgotten just how much so! I went for a run yesterday after doing legs (I'm in meso 1 currently), and today I can barely walk. I mean, it seriously hurts to get up out of my chair.

Forget the past. No one becomes successful in the past.

A walk right after would be nice. I walked to the park with the kids last night and tried to do a couple pull ups thinking those were not the muscles I used in the morning, maybe I could get a few in, but I only managed 3 and my muscles just felt weak, not like incapable, but like worn out.

I don't think I can either. My last rep really is my last rep. lol. But after sts I did go for a 45 minute walk/jog. I don't feel tired or sore...
Can't wait until I can do 30 pound flys! Good for you! No wonder your spent. emoticon emoticon

Wow, not me. I'm totally spent. Today especially just wiped me out. Killer double wave loads. I know I can't lift any heavier than I am lifting.

I'm about 1/2 way through Meso 2 of STS. I use 30s for my chest flies. At the end of my last round of STS I was up to 35. Today I'm pretty sure I dropped to 25 for my last set of inclines. Those double wave loads were killing me, and I think my silly thing said I was supposed to be using 35, but there is absolutely NOOOO way I could do that for 3 rounds. Not sure how my 1RM got so high for inclines. It is fine for flat bench. It is shoulders where I can't even hope to compare to Cathe. Never been super strong in the shoulders.
I think Meso 1 is super hard, but after today, I think meso 2 is hard too. I'm beginning to think that meso 3 is the easiest, but I've probably just forgotten that it is hard as well. LOL

I don't know how you can do another strength workout on Saturday. STS wipes me out for the week. I need me week break before I use those poor muscles again.

HA! Me either...
I've decided to do STS THIS way

Mon: STS Chest, Shoulders & Arms
Tues: Cardio & abs
Wed: STS Legs
Thurs: STS Back & Biceps
Fri: Cardio & abs
Sat: Total Body strength circuit (maybe BodyMax2 or similar)

OR maybe do a LOWER Body Circuit on Friday AND an UPPER body circuit on Saturday. Using the workout blender to create something cool!

Today is first day of Meso 2. I decided to skip Meso 1 as my muscle endurance is very high.
I printed out my workout cards using my stats from the first tim I did STS (about 1 year ago). I am surprised how much heavier I can lift now. It's surprising how doing mostly body weight exercises and circuits have kept my muscle mass and strength up there.
I did do a couple of weeks of P90X but other than that it's mainly been circuits.
Anyhow, is anyone doing Meso 2 right now?

Also, did anyone notice that Cathe is using 30's for dumbell flys? I thought I was doing pretty good to use 20's. lol
