No. She doesn't have one and I really can't see Cathe throwing a kettlebell around, but you never know. A full heavy medicine ball workout would be nice though.

Has she done a kettlebell workout? If not that would be my suggestion! She sells them online so a dvd to go with that would be amazing!

I love to step. I like Athletic Step, but I wish it had more combos in it for the advanced stepper. I caught all of the combos the first time around so I have to just up the intensity in order to make it harder. Anyway, there is a thread over at Cathe's where someone asked if she was working on anything new and everyone added in their suggestions. I suggested more circuits of course. It's in the Ask Cathe section. Cathe didn't answer the question, but said how fun it was to read through that thread. Bring on the pre- order anxiety!

The HiiT dvds are a MUST HAVE, I don't mind the MMA's, and I like ATHLETIC step.

I also recommend HIIT. It's great and short--you can do it on days where you're only doing strength training if you want to fit in some cardio.

I haven't tried any of the others in the shock cardio series because they got such mixed reviews. I went with the ones that the majority of fans seemed to like the most, which were CCC, Circuit Blast, and HIIT.

I don't know what Cathe's working on now...she has been doing the road trips so I'm not sure she's planning anything new at the moment.

So basically all the shock cardio series you would recommend minus the MMA and Step?

Sounds good to me!!! Using Cathe did SOOOO much for me ( along with P90X) when I was loosing all my weight so I am hoping it will do the same now. I do not have much to loose, but I need to tone my core -- -BIG TIME! Hope this along with my half marathon training will do the trick!

Does anyone know what she is doing now that shock cardio and sts are done? Is she working on any new dvds? Just curious......

The HIITs are awesome! I think that DVD is a must have. I love them all. I have Travel Fit on my trades list as well as Step Moves...boring I hate to say. I'm crazy about the MMA workouts either...done them all once each. I think I might trade those too because I have so many other workouts like it that are somewhat better.

Fantastic! I am going to order them both!! how are the rest of her shock cardio dvds? I am not one for step, well I have cardio fusion and like that ok but really and truly I am more of a circuit or drill max kind of girl.

How are her HIIT dvds? I have her STS but now I need more cardio dvds to get rid of my belly after having my baby in April emoticon

Thanks for all the replys, SUPER helpful!!!!!

Cardio core circuit is tough - I use a whew emoticon to describe it. I couldn't keep up the first time I did it, but did better the second and third time. It isn't a weight workout. I'd compare it more to the HiiT type workouts than a circuit. Very cardio intense. The only thing that makes it a "circuit" are the core exercises thrown in at the end of each group of cardio exercises. But the core is still cardio intense.

Circuit Blast is an actual circuit and uses weights. If you are looking for an actual circuit, this would fit that bill. I haven't done that one many times, but the commentary I wrote myself was "whew -that was more leg intensive than I expected. Great workout though. Loved it!"

Bottom line, both are good, it just depends on what you are looking for.

I really like both of them. They're both challenging and along the same lines as Drill Max as far as having shorter, intense bursts of activity that are easy to follow (meaning there's no fancy footwork...they are definitely not easy to do!).

One thing to keep in mind is that they are shorter workouts...around 40 or 45 minutes each. If you're okay with that, I think you'll really like them.

I really like BOTH. I like CCC for travel. No equipment needed, and I can do it on alternate days with TRAVEL FIT.
(FYI; Travel Fit - insert much tougher cardio in cardio segment to up the calorie burn.)

CCC and CB are more of a heavy bootcamp kick your butt style and much harder than Drill Max and cannot be compared to B&G though because it's not a circuit. My fave is CB because I find it challenging and fun. I find CCC a bit dreadful because it's very hard - and Cathe did say it's what we wanted (I don't remember asking for that but ok lol), but I can complete it with Cathe so that's always a good thing.

EDITED TO SAY: I forgot to mention that is is very high impact so take that into account before you buy. You gotta have some energy to be able to keep up with these on any given day. I usually do these before I do anything else on my workout days.

As anyone tried either of these dvds? What are your thoughts? I am looking at ordering them and was just curious how they stack up to her other dvds. I am a HUGE fan of her Butts and Guts and Drill Max so I am looking for something similar but with a fresh take.

Thanks!!!
