I brought a 20# vest from Walmart and it is adjustable. I can't wait until the pull up rack is available from Cathe.com or in stores. I hate pre-ordering and just waiting and waiting.

It's hard enough waiting for shock cardio.

I thought I would love the weighted vest (the 10-pound one they already sell) but it can't be adjusted to be small enough for my trunk. I was also not happy with the ten pound limit so I returned it and ended up with a weighted vest from the Kung Fu school my children attend. it works wonderfully and the price was great but it's definitely not as cute as Cathe's products.

Sirenalatina - I'm thinking about getting Insanity too. I love Plyo on P90X so I hope it is similar to that one.
I think I may follow your strength training rotation with Gym Style and Slow & Heavy.

I took a look at one of the previews of Insanity and it looks like a great workout, but I have so many to do before I even get to that...ChaLean Extreme, STS, P90x and then Insanity. There are so many!!! Waiting for Amy Bento to come out with one like those too...she has so much time to think since she's on maternity leave right now.

We can only hope! That video makes me want to go on the road trip. I live in Jersey so I should have been one of the first to sign up. Definitely going next year though...by then my step confidence level should be higher than it is right now.

Calling all Intense Cardio Lovers!!!!!! If you are just busting at the seams in anticipation of Shock Cardio, you will not be disappointed. Pictured here are some photos from another unbelievably tough Hiit training rehearsal. Make no mistake, these workouts are TOUGH TIMES TEN. You get in, push to the highest output you can physically handle, recovery and do it again…and again….and AGAIN! We have three 25 to 30 minute workouts lined up for you like this (let’s see how you do with just even one!!!). I know Cedie, Brenda, Jai, and Lorraine are incredibly strong ladies and they crawl out of rehearsals….but no worries, I’m not that mean…I hold the door open for them when we’re done…tee hee!

As for an update on our other workouts:
Combined, all 11 (12 if you include Travel Fit) are a perfect complement to our STS strength workouts. The variety, intensity, and cross training benefits are simply untouchable. I’ve structured STS Shock Cardio along the same lines as STS Strength offering different impact levels, intensity and styles of cardio. This will help to always keep your body challenged, prevent boredom and lessen the chance of an overuse injury from always doing the same type of high intensity cardio. Shock Cardio may also be purchased as separate DVDs as I realize that some cardio styles and intensities are not appropriate for many people. This way you can purchase only what works for you.

For Example:

Step Moves has some really exciting choreography that mixes fun footwork, dancier moves, and intensity all packed into one. I know that Rhythmic Step was a favorite for most of you so I designed this workout keeping with this spirit. Me thinks you will likey!!!

Athletic Step brings your inner athlete to the surface. I will push you as I typically do and make sure you are giving me everything. There is nothing fancy here, thankfully, as you will need all your focus to be on your hard working muscles.

Our MMA workouts are rockin’ with various punches, kicks, and modified tactical moves to get you in “fighting” shape…yes, that’s right fighting, as in fighting to keep up with us, LOL!

Our circuit workouts will test your muscle endurance, strength, and cardio output all in one. If a weight is used, it is to assist in intensity to support your cardio output….you will be both aerobic and anaerobic at different points in this workout. Trust me, your muscles have never been shocked like this before.

As rehearsals continue, we will excitedly be sharing pictures and fun details of the featured rehearsal workouts, so stay tuned everyone!

The beauty of STS is that when we get settled in it...we INCREASE THE WEIGHTS. :o)

Can't wait to follow the rehearsals and announcements.

In about two months we should have them in our workout rooms.....

Another workout series like STS, but worse. Like how P90 went to P90X. What I wish was that she would also include some nutrition info with her videos, but since she doesn't it's OK but it would be nice.

Cathe seemed pretty confident that this series will be out in late September and that it wouldn't take nearly as long as STS because of several things they were doing that were simpler. Now, given she's hoping/thinking September, I'm thinking October/November. One can hope, right?

What I can't wait for right now is my Power Tower!

I know what you mean, kind of. I have been wanting more cardio and love step, but my left knee doesn't love it... and I'm having to restrain myself. Now, I honestly can't say I can go for hours... Talk about stamina and energy! Granted, I am chronically sleep deprived and probably anemic (low iron intake virtually every day). I'm thinking I should have my iron levels checked out. The thing is that if I take an iron supplement, I'm chronically over the recommended iron intake levels. Maybe every other day or something like that! LOL

You know my body has been calling for more cardio lately. I don't know why, but I love my step to death. Must step every other day and if I'm not careful I can do it for a couple of hours and the time just flies by. I love my iron, but for some reason I've been doing more cardio lately. Weird.

I just can't wait to do Shock Cardio period. The month I get it I'm doing nothing but cardio for 30 days. I'm excited about this one. Now that I love step and I know the steps (woot) I'm ready for the dancy workout she's got coming. Having trouble waiting. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek

I'm redoing STS starting on September 6th with a cardio....hopefully it will be a SHOCK CARDIO...
but, if it isn't .... I have plenty of Cathe Cardio Workouts to get me started.....BELIEVE ME!

I'm hoping to have THE TOWER by then as well.
If not....I will modify like I did the last time.

Actually on my end I'm missing my cathe cardio. I've been running 3 days a week, and that has got all of my cardio in. While I love running (mostly because I run with a group of friends and we chat the whole time) I'm thinking of taking a day a week off so I can do some of my Cathe cardios again.
Plus I just bought KPC with the percent off we got from ordering shock cardio. I love that workout and have been doing the fittv version for a couple of years now, but I like the full version even more and would love to do that more often.

Blackandi - I checked out your sparkpage -congrats on the weight loss and fitness journey. Awesome.

Well it's not moving fast enough. I'm going through a little something here. I really need more cardio DVDs. I get so bored with the ones I have that I find that I'm ordering more and more and more. I'm going CRAzY waiting for SC.

I only had 4 risers until I ordered the High Step so I got five extra. It came out cheaper at the time to order the High Step instead of four induvidual risers and two slanted risers.

I haven't gotten my slanted ones yet, but with the number of risers I have it shouldn't be a problem.

I only have 4 risers, which means in order for my slanted risers to work, I have to put just a slanted riser down and then put all four of the other risers down with the second slanted riser on top of that.

How many regular risers do you use with the slanted risers? I see from a picture that Cathe has about 2 sets of 5 risers stacked in order to comfortably reach the Tower...

I use my slanted risers. Love them. It makes everything go much more smoothly when going to the inclines.
