Hi MAGNOLIA416,

If you are considering using a single graph to chart all of your runs, you need to think carefully about to make such a chart really useful. Just charting your best time for the week won't necessarily help unless you control important variables to make it an apples to apples comparison. The length of the run is an important variable, as is just how recovered / rested you are (or aren't) for the run.

Having said that, I'd like to suggest that you look into doing a regular Magic Mile to track your running fitness improvements and to make your Magic Mile times what you put in your graph. A mile is short enough to allow you to run at a good pace without doing so much damage that your other weekly runs suffer. Here is Jeff's recommendation for how to do this:

A lot of smart phone apps have graphs. Like (Endomondo or MapMyRun) also a lot of watches that calculate HR and calories burn will also have graphs. Like nike products and garmin.

Hello!

Wondering if there's something like this on SparkPeople or some other fitness site? Though I don't really want to join many more sites!

I'd like to have a graph showing how fast I walk-jog 5K over time....a nice visual to show my progress. I'm doing Cardiac Rehab now (had heart surgery ages ago) and I'm not running but power walking for now. I'd love to have a dot on a chart once a week for my best time that week and see it change over time.

I know i can make a chart myself, just wondering if something's already set up. Like the way we can look at charts over time of our weight changes.

Thanks in advance!
