Sorry...... I'd sulk too....

But on the other hand, overuse injuries are best healed with time off. In fact, many year round training plans include weeks off at a time so that the body can heal.

Biking is a good alternative. Funny about how long you've had your trainer. emoticon

So in an earlier post I mentioned how much this pain hurt around one of my knees back in Sept. I was training for my 1/2 on 10/5

I thought it was the IT band as I was increasing mileage, running on hills and running on uneven ground. However when I showed the PT where the pain was she said that is not the IT band.

Instead, I have a tight hamstring with overuse (oh snap), week posterior sling system and tight quads and Hip Flexors.

Have many stretches to do and exercises to help with the issue. BAD NEWS.. no running for 4 weeks. O.M.G. emoticon

Well I am finally setting up my bike trainer I got for xmas last year... so my mileage this month will be via bike.
