I love my Nathan belt. I have one that holds (2) 8 oz bottles, and that is enough for me at this stage of my running. They really don't move at all when I'm running, which is great.

I also just got a wrist band from a company called Sprigs, it's a phone holder and I LOVE it. I hated the arm band type phone holders so I was just holding my phone in my hand. sprigs.com/banjees/touch-mesh-banjee

I have an Amphipod belt, 4 bottles. sometimes the bottles snap right in, other times not. mostly they do.

I haven't used it in over a year, so I need to see if it will fit my iPhone4S..I hope it does!

I have a Nathan handheld bottle w/ a smaller pocket. I just saw that they make larger pockets you can put iPhones in.

I also have a Nathan fuel belt. It has one large and one smallpouch, and holds 4 8oz bottles (different belts offer different numbers of bottles). I can easily fit my cell phone and multiple gus or chews in the pouches. This leaves my hands free to hold my gymboss (I too prefer to feel the vibration as I can't hear the beeps over my ipod).

Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

I clip my Gymboss to my Garmin wrist strap. No problem feeling the vibration.
I like using a Fuelbelt with six 8 oz. bottles and three pockets. I carry a lot of stuff when I run.

I keep saying I am going to buy a handheld for both training and races, but I keep putting it off.

I do have the Amphipod belt. It has held up fairly well, although the bottles don't snap in as readily as I'd like - especially by mile 11 or 12 when I'm tired.

Ah yes, the hand-held amphipod bottle. I use that as well.

I wear an iFitness belt in races. But for training runs, I carry a hand held bottle. These are designed for runners with a strap / harness so you don't have to actually clutch it and your hand stays relaxed. Mine also has a pouch. My brand is Amphipod, but there are several options.

I haven't really solved that problem yet, though I have a fanny pack kind of belt I wear to run with my group (not for races). I'm so used to it it doesn't bother me at all.

I use a spybelt if just in the neighborhood as I can squeeze my iPhone and house key in it, but that's all.

I use an iFitness belt for races - I can hang my bib from it and it has a pocket for my phone but nothing else.

I tried an Amphipod belt but I can't get the hang of snapping the bottles in and out so I don't use it.

I've been using a Nathan belt for a couple of years and it is so comfortable I forget it is there most of the time. It has a lot of storage.

The sweat was particularly bad on a run this morning and as I had a phone in one hand and my Gymboss in the other, I realized I need to stow my stuff somewhere. I know I can clip the Gymboss, but I carry it because it's easier to feel the vibration (it has audio, but I don't want to do that).

Anyone have any recs on running belts that aren't too floppy and/or distracting? Thanks oodles,

Barb
