it is nice because I do not have to keep track of my day. I upload it and boom, there it is. now after awhile you start to see when you do your most and when you do the least. so now I have a idea of how much I burn and how much I am active. so as a tool to help guide you it is great, I hardly notice it on and I think the first 3 months are free so you save a few bucks there. I like that it tracks your sleep. so you know when you are getting to little and need to adjust yourself. I use it as my main tool to give me a idea as to how many calories I need to eat against how much I have burned

@GWBACH, how do you use it in conjunction with SP? Or do you use the bodymedia for tracking food, exercise etc. and SP for the support etc? Have you found it to be a useful tool? Any drawbacks or real positives?

Never heard of it. I did use a Kenz Lifecorder for abt 2 years, sounds like something similar. It kept me motivated but when it died I didn't feel like replacing it. If you think it'll keep you honest in terms of getting regular exercise it's probably a good investment.

Does anyone use one of these? my wife has one and I am thinking of getting one, the subscription is only about $7 a month. It would track my sleep, steps, exercise. I would still use SP for my food tracking and then import my steps/exercise. Just wondering if anyone was familiar with this or other similar device and had any feedback. Happy Friday
