I am a steelers fan so didn't have a team in the mix this week. My snacks included Apples, oranges and wheat thins. An upgrade over last week's pizza and wings.

Agree 100% on the water and veggies. The only other thing I would add is to have more protein-rich foods vs the super heavy carb stuff like pizza and chips. Go with some nachos that use ground turkey and some lower fat cheese, and we ran into some really good whole grain tortilla chips at Sam's, so just try to upgrade the types of food you have.

I am a Broncos fan, so my team is done for the season. Would love to see an all Harbaugh Super Bowl (49ers vs Ravens), although I have no idea who I'd root for -- I like both teams and both coaches.

well, this is where a small plate and strong will power come in. keep your water handy, be aware of what you are eating and when. There is no playoff law that states you can not have some veggies out to counter the mindless feeding that can happen.

I am going with the Pack, but if their defense doesn't step it up I think it will be a long day!

It's playoff season and with that, in my home, come nachos, chicken wings, pizza and so on. I know the best way to stay on track is to avoid these foods but sometimes I can't. What can you do to tone it down and still enjoy the games?
