I took a body pump class a few years ago and it was great. It helped me tone up some and did wonders for my stamina. There wasn't any other guys in the class though. Most guys either don't want to risk being out done by females or have misconceptions about how much it helps. Most of the guys in the gym could probably out lift the members in the class as far as total weight goes, but they couldn't lift a smaller amount of weight for as long as they did. So if you want to bulk up then it may not be for you, but if you want to tone and build your stamina its a great idea.

I haven't. But I feel it's difficult to get a grasp of any workout by reading about it so why not give it a go?

I am wondering if anyone has taken a Body Pump class (at or not at 24 Hour)? i am intrigued by the cardio and resistance in one. I am getting in shape, but have a fear of trying this class - but I want to!!! Any thoughts about your experience?
