hummm, you all make me think! I'm not sure what my favorite healthy meal is. I love to cook so am having a ton of fun with new recipies and like most of them. For snacks, I usually grab fruit or veggies. Sometimes a yogurt and occasionally a 100 cal cookie snack pack to get my chocolate fix in. As for the water....I drink at least 64 oz. a day.

@Newflabuless

I have 4 herniated disks in my back along with degenerative Disk Disease and a couple of other more minor back and disk issues. The pain comes and goes with meds, shots and PT exercises, but somedays it's too bad to do anything.

Hummmmm, I guess right now I am really wanting to get back in school to finish up my accounting classes. That is a scary thought though at my age, but want to do something positive. Besides that, my most important thing always is to be the best mom I can be to my 3 babies.

Sorry all. Was out running all day!

@TBID227....My kids are my greatest inspiration. They can also be my biggest set back at times, but for the most part it's all good! As far as the exercise goes...I don't like exercise!! I do though do yoga and am LOVING kickboxing cardio. I like free weights but am not at a gym now, so that's harder to do now.

@Thenewmelisa....I think the changes I am most proud of so far are the mental changes I have made. I still have issues, but overall I am doing good with the life change vs. diet mentally. This was always a big struggle for me.

@ GraceOmalley.....Nice question! I have had a few of these bad weeks lately! It's hard for me to deal with set backs so it takes me awhile to get back when I have a set back. I have been trying to keep doing SOMETHING....1 10 min. exercise session or 1 meal within my range and then start adding back again. Usually I am back better than before!

WOOOHOOO! I am so proud to be "On the Podium" this week!

To answer your questions.....

I don't even remember who turned me on to Spark People, but I joined long before I really started using the program. This year really was my begining.

My ID is a funny story...That is my everything ID and my nickname (well not the 2!) My name is Lori Ann and my uncle who was a HUGE Doors fan started calling me LA woman. he had me believing the song was written for me until I was about 12 and realized Jim died before I was even born!!


My weight loss goals are simple....keep going! I had hoped to be under 200 by my 39th B-Day, but a couple bad weeks lately are making that goal seem impossible. Even if I don't make it, it will be soon afterwards. My main goal is to be at a healthy weight and help my back issues. The extra weight is not helping!

Ask away all....I am pretty much an open book!
